Description
Colours of Goulburn - Grey
I love living in Goulburn. Its a beautiful city, and a very colourful city as well. This is a small series of geocaches to help celebrate the Colours of Goulburn.
It can get a bit grey here in Goulburn - especially when the storms roll in. I'm not sure if there are 50 shades of Grey in Goulburn - don't think I want to know about that !
BYO Pen and enjoy !

After attending a GC event, Nibletricecakes and I tackled this trail. Great to get more shots in the current Battleships game. TFTC Minniek.
Out in Goulburn with GLISS! to find some GCA’s for the current game. Great to have a little trail to attack. Thanks for the cache.
I planned to travel through Goulburn to the coast this week and had some stuff to drop off to the CO & Co. I wasn't going to get any geocaching done because of towing the caravan. However, long story short...
Thanks so much for letting me stop here for the night and go find a few caches. It was good getting to know you better.

So it’s been like 2 years since my first attempt. Can’t rush these things.
Quick find. Log a little damp so let it air dry for couple of minutes.
Nice to have this one done now too.

This was the fourth day of my caching weekend, and I spent the day in and around Goulburn. I had hoped to do the new adventure lab, but early on there was a phone disaster and that was no longer possible. I did managed a good collection of traditional and multi caches before heading home to splash out on a new phone. I even managed to get a few GCA caches along the way.

Although the bonus points for the current game were alluring once on Sloane St decided to keep going. I'll never get many finds but doesn't matter. A few up my sleeve for the next game. Thanks.
Found this one laying on the ground at the base of the upright so put it back where I found it. After finding a few more I realised that it was not supposed to be where it was. Perhaps the next finder could return it to its rightful spot.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found with CBRChic and mtrax on the way to the Oz Geomuster at Wollongong. We signed using a stamp "Kayak Cachers".
Thanks MinnieK.

Goulburn was grey today as the misty rain enveloped the city. We didn't mind as we knew the area had been dry and any rain would be welcome.
We were pleased to be able to turn our dnf into a smilie.
Thanks for this cache Minniek we were pleased to find the container and contents were in good condition. We were also pleased to have completed your Colours of Goulburn series.

Found with Throsbyonchurch and DustyJasperJet. A couple of the logs haven't been signed but I cannot remember which ones, please feel free to delete them. I'll put them on my list to sign next time I am in Goulburn. Thanks for the cache hide.
Second cache find in this colourful series. Thanks for the cache Minniek.
We had a problem at this cache and could not find it at all. Little Kitten later found it after we had gone into town and returned to find, White, Orange and Brown in this series. The cache was on the opposite side of the road. We replaced it on the railway roundhouse side of the road.
By the end I was very hot and bothered and near called it quits. We went back into town to the park amenities where Little Kitten and I soaked ourselves in cold water. A sit in the shade and a cool drink along with the breeze blowing our wet tshirts was all the reviving I needed. Back to the trail we went. In the meantime Hubz found a Pathtag in one of the caches and I was keeping it hidden on my leg so Little Kitten wouldn't take it. Returned to this cache and got out of the car, forgot it and dropped it. Little Kitten grabbed it and began taunting me to claim it. I got it back and was carrying it under my gps and put my gear on the guard rail to sign the log, grabbed my gear and left. We completed the series, and then I went off to find some GC caches at Mummel. At the cemetery I realised I couldn't remember where I put the Pathtag. In the car a search was undertaken. It's gone !! I lost it !! I was not happy at all. It was like an ice cream given to and promptly taken from a child and the money someone spend on the tag - down the gurgler. Hubz was trying to pacify me in only the way a man can.. .. .. "You can't do nothing about it!" and a few other comforting (not), manly words. Cut to bits my day was ruined, and I was not interested in finishing the remaining caches out this way. Peddle to the metal (so to speak), I headed back to the site of torment from Little Kitten, thinking all the way that it could have been dropped at other cache locations, I'd never find it, and finally some prayers on the way asking the Lord to tell me where it was. Arriving at this location as I passed the guard rail what did I see, the Pathtag resting on top, albeit sunburned and a scorched bum from being left there. I couldn't believe it, but certainly thought all my Christmas' had come at once. I was thrilled to see it, and the relief was an unbelievable feeling. With that I headed home.

Logging rather late, but no worries about thst - a log is a log is a log! Replaced this with the container supplied by the CO. All good to go again now.

Goulburn trip January 6th 2019. I decided to come up to Goulburn to try and grab the caches that were ready to be found. The trip up Mount Grey was the highlight. A good day and it was not too hot. The Guardrails at these three caches has been changed recently.
Thanks

Unfortunately, this cache looks like maintenance maybe required.
To ensure future finders have an enjoyable experience in both finding the cache and visiting the area, a check on this cache is recommended.
If the cache still seems to require maintenance within 28 days, Geocaching Australia will archive the cache to stop it appearing on cachers lists / PQ's.

Oooops. nother DNF so suggest this needs checking out. Thanks for the series tho Minniek.
Stopped here but could not find the cache. Checked the logs and saw the DNFs and so moved on - thanks anyway

It appears that Grey may have been a victim of the guard rail up grade. We searched for some time without any luck. Perhaps this cache needs to be checked by the CO.
#GA2805 - 12:13; After a busy week of caching with Sol de lune on our 2018 GeoMuster Mega adventure, which took us as far north as Kingscliffe and included many, many stops along the highways and byways there and back for nearly 200 GCA finds, we decided to clear up a few more in the local(ish) area to see if we could break the 200 barrier for the Mega mission. The last mission of a long week of caching saw us hit Goulburn and pick up a couple of series. After climbing the dizzy heights of Mt Gray for six out of seven in that series, we collected a couple of other caches before tackling the remainder of this series, having found some on earlier visits, including a couple before they were published! All good with this one and quickly added our names to the log. TFTC minniek

Last day of the Sol de Lune / LuckyL10n NSW adventure. After attending the Morisset Mega, it was 4 day drive up to and return from Tweed Heads grabbing a load of GCA caches along the way. Seemed appropriate to clean out Goulburn on the way home as well.
We started with the series on Mt Gray and then headed around Goulburn picking off a few others before hitting the rest of this series. No problems making this find and our names were soon in the log book.
Thanks Minniek....good to finally grab these ones as well.
