It can get very black here in Goulburn - especially at Night ! Go figure !

Variety is the spice of life they say. I have found a few GC caches this afternoon, so now it is time to look for some GCA. TFTC minniek SL
The only one in the colours of Goulburn series we had time for on this short visit to town. I managed to grab Black as it was a short walk from where we were parked. My favourite type of hide for a quickie. TFTC minniek.

I searched for ages on and near the wrong end, then decided to widen my search to include the other one and found it straight away ... lol
had looked at the logs and noticed the previous 2 finders mentioned finding it after a GC event ... I found a trig just after them today, because we were all out here for a GC event and thought to myself "oh - they came over here too?" ... then I noticed the date they had signed the log - different event - lol
TFTC - I ended up looking for this one because I came out here to get cheap fuel (at the end of the road past the water point ... note to the CO, who I was talking to at her GC event today - yes, it was open, even though it looked like it wasn't... it says "open 24 hours" on the sign, but nobody was working there - it has a thing where you insert card in slot, chose pump number, then fill up, and insert card again if you want it to print a receipt ... handy to know it is there, for next time I come out here and want to grab fuel as I head home
I got the fuel, drove past and stopped in the sand and gravel mobs driveway to see what GC cache was nearest - did a youey and parked beside the GC Multi, got the info and found that cache, did another youey and then realised I had not looked to see where I was going next, so I pulled up at the driveway I had stopped at before (sand and gravel place was not open, and the driveway is huge) and noticed that this was here - I had been planning to get a few GA caches before heading home ... if I don't get home too late tonight, I might have to find and join the battleships game ... I might get lucky ... lol
hmmm ... not sure I will be home any time that one could call early - it wasn't quite black yet when I found this, but it is now - lol

After attending a GC event, Nibletricecakes and I tackled this trail. Great to get more shots in the current Battleships game. TFTC Minniek.
Out in Goulburn with GLISS! to find some GCA’s for the current game. Great to have a little trail to attack. Thanks for the cache.
I wasn't able to go look for this cache as there was a water truck filling up nearby. It's a very muggley kind of location also.
This was going to be the last in the colour series for me to find in Goulburn after finding a bunch on Christmas Day 2017 with a few FTFs and a few just missed FTFs that day. I'll just have to return to find that final one.

We were really impressed with the number of GCA caches in Goulbourn but we were only passing through today and knew we would get carried away doing them so set ourselves a time limit.
This was one of the few we collected in this series and the first attempted.
There was great parking for the campervan and the muggle workmen in the area drove away as we pulled up, much to our relief.
Thanks, a quick find from the 'safe side'.

This was the only one I did of the colour series despite the bonus on offer. Approached from the park for a quick find. Then drove to the next but a very busy road not conducive to pulling over etc so turned around at the next laneway. Will leave the colourful series to the next bonus period & try on a weekday. Thanks.
Went for a spontaneous afternoon of caching in Goulburn. Three hours of driving for just a handfull of caches, I think by now I have to admit I am addicted!

Found with Throsbyonchurch and DustyJasperJet. A couple of the logs haven't been signed but I cannot remember which ones, please feel free to delete them. I'll put them on my list to sign next time I am in Goulburn. Thanks for the cache hide.
First cache find in this colourful series. Thanks for the cache Minniek.
Finally I had a look at the GA summer game and made a start mark on the board. It looks interesting so I went in search of some caches I could possibly find. With some quick puzzle work the Mt Gray ones were solved. I had printed them out in pdf and didn't realise there was a Geochecker and a corrected coordinates option I don't think I have actually solved any GA puzzles to date, so this these could well be my first. Decided to head to Goulburn and hunt them down. Except for one cache it seems I did pretty well on the solving side of things It was quite hot up on the mount and with the really steep terrain I was thinking "Fitzy, what are you trying to do to me up here." It wasn't too lethal, I survived the series. Following that adventure drinks were on order and some lunch before heading off for Minniek's series. But first stop was the Greyhound club where I saw my first Greyhound racing - man can they run !!!!

Went out for a drive in the air-conditioning, being a bit sick or the heat all the time. Black Bunny and I thought we'd find a few caches out towards Goulburn. There is a delightful view from up here, and it isn't too hot, either.
Out with Just a cacher to grab some caches today and enjoy the cool of the car. A quick park and grab here today.
Thanks for the cache minniek.

A quick find was made at GZ. With the cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache minniek

On our way down the hill we failed to notice the special section of the guard rail. This meant that we were uncertain about about where we would find this cache. We parked below and walked up. As we approached we noticed an incongruity in the structure and spotted the perfect hiding place. A few minutes later we had the cache in hand. Container and contents were in good condition
Thanks for another cache in this series Minniek. We were pleased to be able to find BLACK

#GA2804 - 12:08; After a busy week of caching with Sol de lune on our 2018 GeoMuster Mega adventure, which took us as far north as Kingscliffe and included many, many stops along the highways and byways there and back for nearly 200 GCA finds, we decided to clear up a few more in the local(ish) area to see if we could break the 200 barrier for the Mega mission. The last mission of a long week of caching saw us hit Goulburn and pick up a couple of series. After climbing the dizzy heights of Mt Gray for six out of seven in that series, we collected a couple of other caches before tackling the remainder of this series, having found some on earlier visits, including a couple before they were published! All good with this one and quickly added our names to the log. TFTC minniek

Last day of the Sol de Lune / LuckyL10n NSW adventure. After attending the Morisset Mega, it was 4 day drive up to and return from Tweed Heads grabbing a load of GCA caches along the way. Seemed appropriate to clean out Goulburn on the way home as well.
We started with the series on Mt Gray and then headed around Goulburn picking off a few others before hitting the rest of this series. No problems making this find and our names were soon in the log book.
Thanks Minniek....good to finally grab these ones as well.
