Description
The cache is adjacent to a pathway to East Beach, their are BBQ facilities nearby.
During the summer this area is very popular, stealth maybe required. You are overlooked by nearby housing, albeit they sure a little way away.
The cache has plants with thorns around it, their are even some dying foliage that still have spiky thorns, so please take care.
Congrats to 2y'stassies for FTF

Good hiding place took a bit of searching to find

With 73 weeks since a find we weren't real hopeful here but find it we did - eventually!!
Because there was a van parked near GZ with the owner sitting there looking our way we went down to the beach and tried to access the area without him seeing us. That turned in to a disaster with the scrub too thick to get through.
Thought we were going to have to give up when the van muggle moved on - perhaps he spotted us in the scrub and got worried about what we were up to!
In the end we tackled it from two directions. Mr Beetle spotted it and retrieved it and then passed the log sheet through to me to sign.
Mr Beetle was suitably impressed with this container.
Mrs Beetle was not impressed with the blood caused by the nasty hawthorns though.
Thanks.

Getting into the bush to search was too difficult as it was overgrown with horrid spiky plants that hurt
Found out playing tourist with What'sOn. And picking up caches new since I was last here. Not much chance of muggles finding this by accident tftc
Today we visited Georgetown with whitewebbs and this was one of the caches we found. A novel container.
Many thanks Grumbligrot for publishing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience.

Hi Grumbligrot,
Down this way to drop off some moveables to a caching buddy...wonder who that could be...lol.
Arrived at gz expecting something entirely different but followed the coords...which were spot on as usual... to a likely spot to a very unique container...first time I've seen these.
Cache and log in top condition.
Many thanks for a top cache and it was lovely to catch up with both yourself and your wife for a chat and a lovely coffee...all the best...cheers ST.

In the Georgetown and Low Head area this afternoon logging a few GA caches.
Funny thing about this cache container I found it a couple years ago when it was a misplaced GC cache in the same location, it was a case of deja vu when I found it today as a GA cache. Another special thing about this cache is that it marks my 100th find in the GA caching world, so I picked a good one to mark a special occasion.
Thanks to Grumbligrot for the cool cache
Cheers

A couple of ouches, but we soon found the cache and signed the log. we loved the container. First one of these I have seen. Very nifty. Thanks Grumbligrot for this cache and all the others you have placed in the region.
It's cold and blowy, just like an English summer but we wanted this find so we came and enjoyed the seaside. Great to catch up with you last night. Cheers G&E

after a bit of a search the cache was found and we added names to the log thanks for the cache
Today is the end of spring and the season of the Vernal Equinox. As we needed a Geocaching Australia Dragon Zone cache for November 30 we had done a little research and noticed that this cache, published on the seventh had yet to be logged. We had several appointments earlier in the day and an evening commitment so it was a case of do we have enough time to dash down to Low Head, find the cache, perhaps catch up with the CO and get back to Ulverstone in time. Of course we do provided it doesn't take too long to find the cache.
After morning appointments were over we headed off down the Exeter Highway and soon found ourselves six meters from the cache. We looked at the surrounding bushes with some trepidation - looked like South African box - very thorny. Mrs Y'stassie grew up on a farm where the previous owner, a British botanist had planted several hedges of these particularly thorny shrubs. According to legend they were grown by the British in South Africa to protect small settlements from lions. As one relative pointed out they were very successful as no lions were ever found on the farm.
Today we saw no lions but did find a well hidden cache. Coordinates were spot on. We enjoyed the novel cache container and after finding it in its cosy niche we understood meaning of the hint.
We were surprised to find a blank log giving us a {FTF} at 13:25. Thanks Grumbligrot for this delightful, but challenging little cache that finishes our requirements for the GA Vernal Equinox Horologist Mission adding another 1000 points to our Dragonzone tally.
