Description
Major flood and irrigation works have been undertaken in the Perricoota Forest over recent years. As part of those works a rock pathway has been established so that turtles can exit the water much easier. There's an existing GC cache nearby and now there's a shiny new GCA cache, too.
The cache has been placed in a way will help it survive rising waters. Please do not place it toward the rear - it will become unreachable.
The difficulty rating is based on the dexterity required for retrieval of the cache. The terrain rating reflects the fact that heavy rain will make for a VERY slippery approach - one that will test out both driver and vehicle recovery skills.

Headed out into the scrub to try to find a couple of caches that haven't had much action. A bit of a drive but even though some of the roads weren't sealed, they were dry and easily passable. Once we found GZ the cache was a quick find, but not so easy to retrieve. Eventually got the logbook signed! TFTC
Oh my, I have just realised this fellow has been in the wild for nearly 12 months.
We have been somewhat otherwise occupies and not done a lot of caching in the past 18 months, but today was too good a day to be indoors.
We are familiar with this area as we have a couple of gc caches nearby. It is quite a structure, and I encourage cachers to read up on its reason for being.
We struggled to retrieve this one, as anyone that knows the CO knows he has a longer stretch than us, but we managed eventually. An untouched log book for us to claim a ftf.
Thanks WazzaANdWenches for the cache and your encouragement in keeping our own geocaching australia site alive.
