Description
Can you hear the bells?
I am placing this cache in December 2017 so it is very relevant for this time of year to hide a christmas themed cache, obviously when it is found throughout the year not as much cheer can be spread, but if it at least gives you a smile then I have done my job!
Please log this cache and then move to a new location, please dont put it in an existing GC cache as they tend to go missing.
Have fun finding these christmas bells.

This geocache appears to be no longer at this location so to avoid it showing up in the search lists, we'll archive this one. If the geocache owner can confirm it's in place it can be reactivated by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.
Moved this cache along and it's now ready to be found. Thanks for attending the Meet the Moveable event and hope your travels are safe and far.
Headed down to Melbourne for the Meet the Moveables event at Brimbank Park, where this moveable, along with about 120 other were found. A good turn out at the event and everyone seem to have a lot fun talking about all things caching while finding the moveables and getting a start on the Journey or Destination summer game. A good couple of hours were spent in the area before witching hour rolled around and it was time to head back up the highway towards home. T'was an uneventful trip and with the number of moveable on offer, was certainly worth the drive.
Thanks for the moveable.....

A quick pickup of moveables today for a secret meeting to take place in just a little while. Your geocache would like to join the secret activities so it may not move for a little while but it will be safe and sound and will be moved along (and hopefully logged quite a bit) in the not too distant future.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache here today.

A muster of old moveables in Canberra was called for, so a heap were collected and they have now made their home in and around Melbourne......hope they enjoy their new surroundings.
I was happy to see this moveable cache in the hands of another cache before it and many others head south.

#GA3137 - 10:40; It's a beautiful spring day in the National Capital and too good to be inside, so a spot of caching is called for. Picked this cache up on a wandering dinosaur hunt after taking a meandering route to GZ and fortunately finding the gate open which let me get quite close to GZ. Avoided the small patch of blackberries, which is unusual for me, and had a quick find once I reached GZ. TFTC ParisLaura

I brought this back from Sydney, and was thinking I might hide it on an island an hour or 3 before the T5 picnic event that was on that island ... but the weather was windy and I didn't go as early as planned, so I just took it with me and put it on the table with my own moveable cache (which only moves with me), and the food ... but there was so much going on I am not sure if anyone found/signed it (don't think anyone has logged it yet) Then the other day I picked up a dinosaur racer moveable, with the intention of going geocaching somewhere up my end of town after work the next day, and placing the dinosaur and this one somewhere while I was at it ... so of course I came down with some bug or another ... not sure how I made it through to the end of the day at work, got home just after 5pm and was in bed and sound asleep by 5:30 and had the next 2 days off work ... felt better today though ... went out to an art quilt meeting, and remembered about my moveable mission ... didn't want to go on a huge long geocaching adventure that would take the rest of the afternoon and most of the evening, but i decided I did need a walk ... so I came home, and at Sunset I headed to my local pond to take some photos, and found a nice place for these 2 guys to wait for the next person to collect them
Yes, not quite a park and grab, but a nice little walk by/around a nice little pond ... quite a nice place to sit actually, so even though it was getting dark, and a bit cool, I sat there a while and did some mindfulness meditation, then sat there even longer recording the sounds frogs and birds with my phone - lol
(I would hide a traditional cache here, but there is already a GC one too close to here ... guarding ... the other side of the pond ... )
It has been kind of fun carrying this jingly cache around with me for a few weeks - "Christmas in August"? - lol

Up here from Canberra - volunteered to drive a Muggle friend up for her mums 90th birthday party... staying in a nearby hotel... she went to bed, I decided to come over to the park on a quick "stupid o'clock" caching raid
Figured this one might like to visit Canberra...

Moved down to the big smoke, hopefully to be picked up soon.
Came through this morning for an easy find. Left moveable in place so that it is still in play.
Had a raid in Lapstone this morning netting 3 traditional and 7 moveables.
Collected this one as I made my way out of the area.

Here we are again, must take you further away next week.

I decided to take advantage of a couple flexdays to come up the mountains and stay with my favorite old man
Of course there was a price to pay and I was made to find a few caches to pay for my bread and board, nothing onerous this far but I fear he may have other plans for the next couple days.
Thanks for the cache

The bells are ringing along the Leven river as it waits for its next pick up
This little cache was very quiet - not used to being shoved in a boot, but was happily ringing away as soon as it was freed from its cobwebby hiding spot. A nice little cache for the festive season.
Will get it out and about soon.

Dropped this appropriately festive cache off with a another one and grabbed a bag of other moveable caches to move along, happy travels

We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.
Sorry about the lengthy logs. We are currently aiming for a virtual verbosity trophy.

After a slow start, the bells have started to ring. Found at about 9pm last night in Adelaide, they spent today in Camp"bell" town, NSW. Unfortunately, no promising hides offered and the weather was unpleasant. Their journey continued and they are now ringing out from the top of a stump in Launceston.
A last minute, night time raid procured another FTF. What are Adelaide cachers up to? An unfound cache, sitting there for ten days, crying out for attention!
Oh well, these bells will be ringing in Christmas far from Adelaide. Many thanks for the hide (and the tip off! ) ParisLaura.
