Description
Log only cache. Please bring your own writing implement.
This one is located North of Nanango on the Eastern Side of the highway. A you approach the area where the hide is, if you can, look to the east and see if you can spy a pile of rocks. There is a track that goes off the highway that goes in the direction of GZ. If you miss the turn continue on till you see another track on the eastern side then turn off and make your way back on the track to the GZ If not using the track be aware that his highway does get very busy and it may not be safe to park on theedge of the road. Please take one of the tracks and walk back if you have to. Enjoy and be safe.

Logs
#GA3502 - 10:25; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Spending today caching around Nanango and Kingaroy and hoping to clear a swag of GCA puzzles from the 'solved but unfound' list we have been compiling for the past couple of years. We were now underway and enjoying a variety of cache types and hides, some taking longer than other to make the find amongst the long grasses and having to make the right choice from the variety of possibilities available. Thisn one took quite a bit of work to find as we hunted around looking for one thing, but finding something else at the end of the search. Happy to add our names to the log though! Apologies for the generic logs. TFTC tadpole3

2nd day of a 5 day trip around south-east Queensland with LuckyL10n and today we were in Nanango to grab a few more of the local offerings. All up my 3rd trip to this area, but there are few cachers to grab. We encountered wild weather in Brisbane yesterday, however today started with very little rain and no wind...thankfully.
This took a little while as we guessed (wrongly) as to the type of hide we were looking for. A good 10 minutes later, something was noticed low down and on further inspection the cache was revealed. Very please to cross this on off the list.
Thanks for the cache Tadpole3. Cache all good.

Well this cache find took much longer than expected. MrGt54 went to find the cache. After awhile Mrs Gt54 came over to help out, and saw that the cache wasn't at GZ so both Gt54 scrambled to the cache and both picked it up at the same time. a bit of cache wrestling went on till Mrs Gt54 was given the cache to open.. FTF Thanks YOF TFTC

Not claiming as a FTF as I was assisting geo grandson to make these hides. He is getting good at choosing locations and in preparing the containers for hides.
He is not into GCA much but does when he visits to help his grand dad out.
