Description

A small lonely cache just waiting to be found

My grandson Dan won this 'ready to hide' cache at his first Geocaching event, when he was visiting from America in June. We searched many areas to hide it. In the end he chose this spot.

He tried three times to publish it as a GC cache, but was knocked back. It's been sitting here ever since, patiently waiting to be found.

I went to check on it today and decided to publish it as a Geocaching Australia cache on his behalf.

The road in was very corrugated today, and parking tricky, but it is a No Through Road so I wouldn't expect much traffic on it.

As it is near water, parents need to keep a close eye on children, and watch out for fanged reptiles.

Congratulations to Spy Inc on his First to Find, especially as he was at the event when Dan won the cache.

#GA2562 - 16:40; After driving down to Melbourne to bring the geostudent and her friend back for uni, Sol de lune flew in to join me for a days caching and the return journey to Canberra. Our plan was to make finds in as many of the dragonZones in which we were yet to make a find as we could. Today it was time to return home to Canberra, but we would be taking the long way home via Colac, Ballarat, Bendigo, Shepparton and a few points in between. This was our last stop before we headed for the Hume and home. Made our way down the bouncy road and once at GZ made a quick find. Big mouses around here it seems ThinkWhistle TFTC Cybergran V Very HappyClan Cerberus

Heading home the long way after a couple of days caching around Melbourne with LuckyL10n. Wanted to grab one in the Shep area and chose this one as it was through town....and I've always liked the COs caches. Once at GZ the cache was quickly found and the log signed. Cahche was replaced and as this was the last for the trip, it was back in the car to hopefully be home before midnight.

Thanks Cybergran V.....and as boot said.... how big are rhe mice around here????? Very HappyVery Happy

When I got to GZ I was worried that I might be there a long time in the heat of the day which I am not used to. Happy to find it after only a short hunt. This find qualifies me for another claim in the summer game of States of the Nation and some bonus points as it is out of my state of Tasmania TFTC CybergranV
