Description
Yeah we also hate nano's!
This one was placed as part of the 2017/18 States Of The Nation game, where a nano placement was one of the challenges (really, they made us do it!)
If you are not involved in the summer game, no drama, just find and log the geocache as per normal.
It shouldn't be too hard and you are in a good location for a thorough search without looking overly 'suss'.
As a family, we have spent many hours here at the Windsor Park Precinct. You might find us here doing the weekly Saturday morning Parkrun, pottering around at the nearby community garden, or just walking our fat, lazy, but adored beagle.
It is a lovely area and we hope you enjoy your visit.
Have fun!

After a lunch nearby I took the opportunity to look for this cache. A pleasant place to relax. Thank you for this cache.
Another fail on this one. I was hopeful after there were some recent finds but alas I come up empty handed again
out and about with 1 Lil Rafa caching in Launceston, great weather and only 2 DNF for the weekend. great company what else do you want of to Low Head soon that is going to be fun as well, TFTC TNLN log dry. didn't take that long to find, sorry for the last two cachers, this was very easy, I think it might have been replaced or taken and put back, don't know.
Thanks for the cache DaFiChNi Team.
In Launceston for the weekend with RLD4963 and we were in the area, so decided to have a look for this cache. Found it pretty much straight away, was surprised to see it hadn't been found for 2 years, and that there had been a couple of DNF's. Anyway, we signed the log and put it back where we found it. Thanks for adding to the caches in the area.

Like the previous visitor, I had a good look in every nook and cranny but came up empty handed
Laid down on the job but still couldn’t come up with the goods. Had a football game to get to but I truely did have a good look.
Hi DaFiChNi
An easy walk and find

In Launceston for a couple of days entertaining a 6 year old for the last of the school holidays. Headed out to this park to grab the 3 new caches that had been published since our last visit. Unloaded the bikes and rode to this one first where the 6 year old quickly found the tiny container. Thanks.
After finding GA11679, Futuristic Journey we decided to leave the higher terrain caches to another day when we were not tired and the light was better. We thought we would go into town for tea then return to attempt the recently published night cache. As this cache was on our way back to the city centre we decided to stop and look for it.
Nanos are not our favourite cache size but we were surprised to find it quite quickly. We often go for a walk around this area when in Launceston. We like the well kept gardens and the range of small birds that populate the flowering shrubs. This was one of the few times that we have been here when we have had the place to ourselves. Log signed and cache replaced we were ready to visit the two other nanos on our path to tea.
Thanks for bringing us back to this peaceful area DaFiChNi Team and for the tiny cache. We're sure to need a nano for the summer games.

In Launceston today to find some caches and try to dispose of some of the hoard of moveable caches currently residing in the boot of the cache mobile. This was the first cache we targeted, made a quick find with accurate coordinates and a good hint. TFTC
Out and about in the area collecting caches that have been published since our last visit. This park is always a lovely place to visit and there is a lot of construction going on.
We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018.
We are currently aiming for a virtual verbosity trophy, hence the lengthy logs.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.
Go Tassie! Go Tassie!! Go Tassie!!! Go Tassie!!!! Go Tassie!!!!! Go Tassie!!!!!! Go Tassie!!!!!!!
