Wow , wow, wow! As I drove towards this GZ I knew that I had been here before. Why didn't I log it? Oh yes, I didn't find it. Serves me right for not logging a DNF. Today I decided to check more thoroughly. I must have spent half an hour here, approaching from all directions to see if I had the right spot. I was on my last circuit of the rock, not the wallaby, when I checked somewhere I had not looked ever before. I actually threw it away before I realised what I had just done. TFTC Darzee Di. Went out for a drive in the air-conditioning, being a bit sick or the heat all the time. Black Bunny and I thought we'd find a few caches out towards Goulburn.

This puzzle was solved using a technique we have used before. We were pleased the check sum worked first time.

At GZ Mrs Y'tassie walk round in circles several times without spotting the cache. She was looking for a larger container. Mr Y'stassie walked over, picked up the container, signed the log and said "you' better go and look for the next one" Container and log were in good condition.

Thanks for a neat little puzzle and an unexpected cache container Darzee Di. This cache was a timely reminder to use your powers of observation and not rely on what you think will be there.

GCA 1920. Daily find this morning on the way into Canberra.

Nice quick solve of the puzzle, while minniek needed a few minutes to make the find when I reminded her it wasn't a large this time !

#GA2245 - 12:20; Headed out with andrewbt and Sol de lune on a 'States of the Nation' mission across the border into New South Wales to plunder some treasure which has recently appeared around Mt Fairy. The plan was hatched with abt at a recent event and after the return of Sdl from OS the finer details all came together and today was settled on to head off on the scavenge. After a wrong turn early, we were now rolling along the dirt roads pretty well. Reached the end of the road and started the search. No luck. Widened the search area, still no luck. Revisited the original search area and there it was, sitting in the shadows. Whew, made it and managed to get our names onto the log. Rock on! TFTC Darzee Di Very HappyClan Cerberus

After a bit of time away it was time to head out and start grabbing a few of the new GCA caches with LuckyL10n and AndrewBT for the current Summer Game. Puzzle was solved last night in prep for our day out and once at GZ, the cache was quickly found.

We were a bit blind to start with here, but once the cache was found, all was good and we were off to the next one and a few more points for the ACT.

Thanks for this one DD.....

Solved this on the fly as this was not one I had prepared earlier. Took a while to actually find the cache - was almost doubting my coords - then a quick reread and my error was clear, I had been looking for a large or regular when this was small. That helped me narrow it down and soon had cache in hand. TFTC

Three of us set out to hide some caches for the State of the Nation game but held off logging the cache until the FTF was completed. So I am claiming the cache now. It was so much fun exploring this area and hiding the containers. Great to get some more GA caches out there. Thanks for the cache Smile
