Today I am out on a mission to find enough GCA caches to finish off the Battleship and hopefully the Patrol boat too in the current GCA game of Battleships. All caches that were found were in good condition and the logs signed. Thanks for this cache Kittykatch. Mission accomplished for Battleship but will not know about the Patrol boat until I have finished logging and then firing off my shots. ClappingClappingClan CerberusClan Cerberus

While caching our way along part of Tarago Road we encountered a group of ACT cachers heading to Goulburn for the Giff event. After a chat they continued along Tarago Road while we turned off to tackle the GAcaches in the Mount Fairy area. We had solved the puzzles before leaving home. We had to check out some of the bingo calls with some of our older relatives who are regular players. It seems as if there are some universal calls while others may be less common.

It was interesting driving in this area. The roads, although unsealed, were in very good condition so our Kia street 2WD had no trouble navigating the roads.

We laughed when we saw the cache container, very creative and fitting with the theme. Container and contents were in very good condition.

Thanks for the cahe and puzzle Kittykatch. We appreciate the effort you put intodesiging and placing your caches.

I can tell that I must be getting tired of late night puzzle solving and early morning caching runs as somewhere along the way I got this one totally mixed up. GZ looked very unlikely as there was no obvious way in, so back to check my workings. DOH!!!! That one little duck was the wrong sort! Fixed and then found. Thanks for these lovely puzzles - I have enjoyed coming out this way a I love seeing the wind turbines on the way in and out. TFTC Smile

#GA2249 - 12:45; Headed out with andrewbt and Sol de lune on a 'States of the Nation' mission across the border into New South Wales to plunder some treasure which has recently appeared around Mt Fairy. The plan was hatched with abt at a recent event and after the return of Sdl from OS the finer details all came together and today was settled on to head off on the scavenge. After a wrong turn early, we were now rolling along the dirt roads pretty well. Our came up quickly here and the call of 'bingo' went up when the cache was found. After a bit of time away it was time to head out and start grabbing a few of the new GCA caches with LuckyL10n and AndrewBT for the current Summer Game. Was a bit of fun doing solving the puzzle, which was solved last night in prep for our day out. Once at GZ the cache was quickly found.

Once the cache was replaced, we were off to the next one and a few more points for the ACT.

Thanks for another one KK.....

Kittykatch, Joolay and I went out to hide some some caches for the SoN game and wow what a day, 12 out there to help with the game. Waited to log find until someone got the FTF to be fair. We had a great day and lots of fun and some tough decisions about the puzzles. We each tested each others puzzles to ensure they worked and the FINAL coords were correct. TFTC KittyKatch.
