Went out for a drive in the air-conditioning, being a bit sick or the heat all the time. Black Bunny and I thought we'd find a few caches out towards Goulburn.

Out with Just a cacher to grab some caches today and enjoy the cool of the car. A quick park and grab here today.

Thanks for another cache Darzee Di.

We enjoyed doing the research for this puzzle as we did not know much about the history of biscuit tins. We remembered some of the old tins our grandmothers had as well as the ones we had seen in shops when we were children.

Very good coordinates enabled us to make a quick find of the themed container in its secure hiding spot. Container and contents were in good condition.

Thanks Darzee Di for an informative puzzle and a well themed cache. We enjoyed our trip around Mount Fairy one we probably would not have made but for the caches hidden here.

Solved a few of the simpler puzzles in the field so I could collect on the way home. The wording of the calculations were a little confusing, but I managed to get it right and found the cache in the expected location. Nice country road that I don't think I've been on before.

Thanks,

After a longer than expected CITO event in Boxvale, fitzy_1965 and I made the trek out to Mt Fairy late this afternoon for the final cache in the area. Has been fun collecting the puzzles the ACT ladies put out for the SoN.

GCA 1941. Found this one this evening with minniek after an epic days caching.

After a great days caching up at Box Vale we went home for a while to recover from the heat, then headed back out for our daily GCA. We had solved this interesting puzzle previously and what a tasty one it was - and we even guessed the container ! Lol.

TFTC Darzee Di !!

Finding some more solved puzzles for the scavenger game. Really enjoyed this one which got me further down this road than I have ever been - love that about geocaching!!! I appreciated the small walk this time as I had parked further away than was necessary. TFTC : )

Back out this way again to finish some unfinished business. No dramas with the puzzle and the cache was soon captured.
Thanks Darzee Di for the cache and the fun and the interesting research.

Co-ords took me to the side of the road which would be the theme for a few more before it got to hot. Looked around for something resembling the hint to no avail. A ripper of a blue tongue warned me so I returned to get my camera but he had disappeared by the time I got back. I should just be caching I know but the day was mostly Waymarking with a few of these. No point in ACt people contesting this years game as t does't stand for S. Thanks.

#GA2253 - 13:10; Headed out with andrewbt and Sol de lune on a 'States of the Nation' mission across the border into New South Wales to plunder some treasure which has recently appeared around Mt Fairy. The plan was hatched with abt at a recent event and after the return of Sdl from OS the finer details all came together and today was settled on to head off on the scavenge. After a wrong turn early, we were now rolling along the dirt roads pretty well. This was our last stop for this part of the mission and we enjoyed another quick find once we reached GZ. All up one hour and ten minutes from first find to twelfth Dancing TFTC Darzee Di Very HappyClan Cerberus

After a bit of time away it was time to head out and start grabbing a few of the new GCA caches with LuckyL10n and AndrewBT for the current Summer Game. Puzzle was solved last night in prep for our day out and once at GZ, the cache was quickly found. Took hot for nibbles today, but thanks for the thought....

Once the cache was replaced, we were off to the next one and a few more points for the ACT.

Thanks for this one DD.....

Three of us set out to hide some caches for the State of the Nation game but held off logging the cache until the FTF was completed. So I am claiming the cache now. It was so much fun exploring this area and hiding the containers. Great to get some more GA caches out there. Thanks for the cache Smile
