Description
This reclaimed area used to be a very odiferous breeding area for the famous Lake Neanger bin chickens. The local homeowners complained long and loud and eventually the chickens were moved on and the area was give a makeover.
You are looking for a bison tube hanging in the greenery - its probably easiest to access it from the water's edge.

I had another search today and it is definitely not there, I will need to source a replacement and will drop it out soon.
No joy for me today, i see it hasnt been found for a few years.
Yesterday i found my first few GA caches but i had completely forgotten that there is an app for it. Instead i copied out the coords into geooh go. Today i am searching for a few more and testing out the app.

We were looking for another cache and found ourselves in Eaglehawk with two GA caches nearby. It was a beautiful evening for a walk out to the island. The last of the muggles were just leaving as we set off. There was a variety of water birds and even some little wrens and honey eaters flitting through the low bushes. We enjoyed the rock hop to the little island at the tip. Accurate coordinates enabled us to locate the well camo'ed cache quickly. The container and log were in very good condition.
Thanks for this cache The Morris. We enjoyed lur evening stroll around the island.

Out and about caching in the Bendigo area today, the weather's perfect but supposed to rain tomorrow so trying to get as many GCA caches as possible. This one was spotted by one member of the team but the other member of the team had to retrieve the logbook for signing, a combined effort. TFTC

Ooooh, a tricky one here. I spotted it easily enough then had to brace the shoreline to get the cache. Only just survived without wet feet at this location.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this cache here today.

Having arrived in Bendigo, it was time to head out and round up a few GCA caches that had been published since our last visit a year ago. We love caching around Bendigo. Bendigo is the last stop for us before heading home to Tassie after attending the OzGeoMuster at Easter. Nice to catch up with the COs at the Mega. A lovely area. TFTC

A plea from our all-grown-up daughter to bring some of her stuff to Bendigo gave us an opportunity to find a few GCA caches during the rushed trip. Some planning helped us in not having to backtrack, although the showgrounds cache required a second visit due to the pony club meeting. We still managed to make it home in time for our afternoon commitment, and with 6 FTF's as well .
This proved to be a little more challenging today as an old bloke was sitting on a rock not far from GZ and it was difficult to look for the cache without attracting his attention. It wsn't until a family of ver noisy kids came along that he decided the peace had been shattered at he moved on. A quick find was made quite soon after.
Our thanks to The Morris for placing this GCA cache.
