Description
A unexpected water feature in Kaleen
This cache is located at a small waterfall area, near the start of a stormwater drain. Flow over the waterfall will depend on recent rain. The site is at its best a couple of days after rain. The stream that feeds the waterfall drains the Gungaderra Grasslands Nature Reserve to the north of the Barton Highway
Do not enter the area during, or immediately after heavy rain as there may be local flooding and fast flowing water.
Once you have located the cache and added your details in the notebook please ensure that you tighten the lid fully on the container to keep the contents waterproof.

Logs
I wandered over here on my day out caching and started looking around. With plenty of water about, there were a few places I was not able to search, but I failed to locate the cache here. I hope it is hiding somewhere I did not look.
Thanks

Found accidentally while grabbing a nearby GC cache. Log book was a little damp but otherwise in fine shape.
A nice walk from the suburb out here today to find this and a another GC. Thanks for the Cache Nissenk.
A very familiar spot here, so parked in my usual spot, then wandered over. Nice to see a different container, although it doesn't seem to be waterproof.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Very cool cache for what I believe is your first cache hide. Welcome to Geocaching Australia.
Like a couple of others, I've been saving this one to fill a hole in my caching calendar. Pulled up along the nearby road and took the short walk to GZ. It was over the creek bed and then to the GZ where the cache was soon located. Took a seat there and signed the log book, which unfortunately was a little damp, before replacing the cache and heading back to car. ( A zip lock bag for the log book should ensure it stays dry....)
Thanks Nissenk....neat cache, well hidden and no doubt it will be there for a while.

#GA2448 - 12:00; I had been leaving this cache until I needed to fill another hole in the dZ calendar and today was one of those days. I managed to find a convenient parking spot within 150 metres or so and made my way over the fairly recently mown grass towards GZ. On the approach I spotted a distinctly possible hiding spot and once I reached it, I was rewarded with a quick find on a very nice sized cache. The logbook is a little damp, probably due to condensation, but still quite serviceable. Log signed and cache replaced, I was soon on my way again. TFTC Nissenk

Ack! I must have missed this notification when it got published!
Actually, the day this got published, I rode past GZ... twice.. once actually through the drain!
And again today, en route to get another cache!
Anyhow, that matters not. I attended the GC and GCA events tonight, I noted to Fitzy that I realised this cache existed. He replied yes, and it's a really good cache in a good hide. So I planned to collect on the way home.
I had a brief stopover at work on the way back home.. which turned into 2hrs of chatting with the guys on shift. Which meant that I trundled through the area at 23:30!
Cache was quickly located, and I must agree - it's a very well designed cache.
TFTC Nissenk!

I nicked out today to grab what I was hoping would be a FTF, but no, others have logged it before me. The long grass here had me wary of snakes, but no encounters today. TFTC

GCA 1880. A rare *FTF* with minniek on this new cache.
A neat little hide - quite well hidden in its hole ! I braved the 'creek bed' and located the perfect hiding spot for a cache. Nicely set up.
