Found at lunchtime today. A great little spot for lunch. After a short look around, the goods were in hand. Cache was well hidden. TFTC
Whilst working in the North East today i came back via this cache, stopped here for lunch while looking for the cache,
on first look completely missed the cache but after a lap around the item and some light poking with a stick the cache was recovered.
Cache was in good dry order considering it hadn't been found in over 2 years.
This was a great little spot along the river. TFTC

Today we had a free day before a very hectic weekend. As the weekend planning was done we decided to take a drive to the North East to find a few caches that we needed to change to smilies.
After visiting Nabowla, Garabaldi and Frome Dam (beautiful but no cache located) we made our way back to Scottsdale, up the Sidling and along a very wet and slightly slippery road to the river where we left the car and squelched our way along the first part of the track. After negotiating the prickly gorse we found a nice clearing, perhaps Cached's camping spot. From here we followed our GPS to the hide. What a great reminder of the majestic trees that were once part of the forest. It took a few minutes before we located the well hidden cache container. All was well and we signed the log before replacing the cache as found. Then we spent sometime enjoying the beauty of the area, gently flowing clear water, large mossy rocks and some very large remnants of the ancient forest that once covered this area.
Thanks for the cache Cached and for showing us this very special spot. We know our fly-fishing son would love this spot.

Very frosty here this morning. Track was water logged but made it through to a lovely spot by the river.
Accurate coords had me inside...but took a minute or two to spot the hide....very neat. Cache is in excellent condition.
A great spot which I wouldn't have found otherwise....many thanks for the cache....Cached....cheers ST.

Early morning start rewarded us with a [*FTF*] @ 08.00 hrs. Got to within 50m of GZ but without recovery gear we didn’t venture any further. Beautiful spot we would not have found but for geocaching. Thanks for bringing us here.
Many thanks Cached for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience.
