Description

This cache has been published for the States Of The Nation Summer Games

All of the puzzles published by 2y'stassies for the States Of The Nation Summer Games can be solved using wither the Geocaching Australia Toolbox or the Geocaching Toolbox. Your task is to identify the required tool and apply it to the data provided. Some of the applications will be straightforward but others will be more complex. By attempting to solve these puzzles you will become more familiar with the range of tools available from both web sites.

You will need to decipher the following message to get the coordinates for the cache. It is a common cipher with a twist.

After a few weekends of working around the house and some dodgy weather, it was great to get out and about again to grab a few caches around the area. After a cool start this morning we thought we wait until around mid morning to head out.

Went to grab this one after ducking down to the Leven river to go back and get my torch from a few weekends ago after I left it hanging on a log Embarassed Easy find TFTC Clan Cerberus

today we took the opportunity to find this. on th way to ground zone the GPS took us on a goose chase through the bush. but using the hint we were on the way to the right spot. the cache was pretty easily spotted on the way to it so we made sure to cover it a little better. TFTC was a very enjoyable puzzle cache Clan CerberusVery Happy

I had never been down this road before. Mr Beetle let me out and turned the car around while I grabbed the cache. Lots of blood lost here though - that's what you get when you cache in scrub in thongs and walk too close to cutting grass!!!!!
Thanks.

TFTC.
Took the longer way to walk to this cache, and then it took me quite a while to actually find cache.
Found this cache on a 2 day trip to the NW, covering over 1000 kms and finding around 100 caches of both GCA and GC

A very rainy day here so went to find a close by cache.
Arrived near gz to the sound of more rain. Gpsr didn't like the wet canopy so looked around 2 large trees before spotting another close by with the cache next to it.
The cache did have a tsp of water inside
...contents all ok...all good again now. You'd wonder how water could enter.
Many thanks 2y'stassies for another enjoyable hunt...albeit a bit wet....cheers ST.

After attending two fantastic events on Goat Island I headed off to collect a few of the newly published caches. This was one of them, the others will have to wait for another trip. This one took a while, there were lots of large trees. When found coords were around 12 m out. So I was very pleased to sign the log. Enjoyed this SOTN series, the puzzles and the tour through the puzzle solving tool boxes. TFTP

After the event on Goat Island we headed off to find this cache as it fitted the criteria for a scavenge. GPS was very erratic here and only found cache after resorting to the hint.

Many thanks 2y’stassies for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience.

Second last day of the SOTN summer game so we decided we needed to target some caches for scavenges that are still gaps on our list. Couldn't resist this one on the way past though as it looked like the FTF was still available. So after a short detour along a road we'd never been on before we were relieved to find an empty logbook, FTF at 10am Dancing Then it was on with our trek to the wilds of Trevallyn to see how we could go with our list. A fairly successful day, only missed two, but as one is a moveable maybe we'll find it somewhere else in our travels. As for the other one, well, maybe another visit with a bit more time up our sleeve will meet with more success. TFTC and the puzzles
