Hello OldSaint Thank you for the cache.
I had solved your puzzle some time ago without too much trouble.
Today as it was Valentines day I joined up with EeePees to find the cache.
After a little time wandering around GZ EeePees had it found.
Now off to a night out with the boys.
Found on Thursday 14 February 2019 at 1806.

Out after work to find this cache and like the puzzle I had trouble finding this cache. The puzzle was only done with a big clue from the owner and after 15 minutes walking in circles I spotted the place that matched the hint... About 25 metres up the hill. Wow I was a long way to low.

Thanks for this mystery cache OldSaint. This is another one of those mystery caches that I solved during last year's summer games, but whenever I went to park at the nearest available parking, there where either people or a bunch of cars, of great big trucks, and I never got around to looking for it. Today I was out and about with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP enjoying an amazing day on the mountain. I really wanted to have a look for this one on our way home and as we approached the parking area, it was all clear. A little bit of a stroll to GZ and the cache was found easily. Cheers for a great puzzle and cache - all the best for Christmas and New Year!

Out and about with the Rafas caching before Christmas, there were some caches to find at the springs. after working out the puzzle and placing the coords where ever, Rafa and I were in this area and she was organised "had the coords on the GPSr" so we found signed and replaced the log. TFTC TNLN log dry.

Nice puzzle, solved months ago, but as I haven't been doing much caching I hadn't loaded it into my GPS until now.
Nice old-school hide, too. I came at it from an awkward angle, but I'm not sure if there was an easier one.
Thanks.

This puzzle was solved some time ago but was left until we could use it towards a challenge. So, today we came south to see family and along the way, detoured to look for this cache. The hint was a great help because when the cache was in hand, our two GPS units indicated that we were either 10m or 12m from GZ. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache and puzzle.
The rat turned up at 7.55am bearing the gift of coffee for both of us. The egg had hers in bed while SSR and I headed to South Hobart(ish) to find this cache and hopefully not the phantom hoser . The coast was clear when we arrived but we didn't take any chances so took a wider route to get to GZ coming at it from below. We had a bit of a slide down but an easy walk across and a bit of a scramble back up. I was still half asleep so walked around like a zombie half following the GPS, and half listening to Andy. We got there and logged it easily enough and then shot off to pick up an angel that has been keeping Swampy company for two years.
Thanks old mate, glad to have found this today.

We had this puzzle solved and pulled up here this morning to find it but old mate was watering his ferns (in the rain) so disappointingly we left it for another day
We finally solved this puzzle after totally overthinking it and trying to find things that weren't there. The geochecker liked our effort and we headed off to GZ. I took the long and low road to avoid any possible confrontation from local muggles while Mr W took a more direct route. By the time I neared GZ Mr W had finally located the cache. The GPSr didn't like the area at all (we are finding the GPSr a bit precious at the moment!) Found with the aid of the hint. As the logbook was blank will claim FTF at 1.30 pm. TFTP
Sorry about the lengthy logs. We are currently aiming for a virtual verbosity trophy.
We are participating in the States of the Nation games which are currently running from 16 December 2017 until 21 January 2018 and hopefully will be able to claim this find against one of the scavenges.
States of the Nation is a real and virtual geocaching scavenger hunt where your home state will compete against other Australian states to find and hide geocaches. Over the 5 week course of the game there will be hundreds of scavenges that you can track down, find and convert into points for your state. Some scavenges will be easy. Some scavenges will be tough. Some scavenges may be impossible. Don't despair. You are not competing just for yourself; you are competing as a state.
There will be a number of scavenges released on a weekly basis but each scavenge will remain until the end of the game. This means even if you decide to join the game part way through, the early scavenges are still available for you to claim. Scavenges will require you to find a geocache, hide a geocache, attend an event or do something else completely different. The game focuses on all aspects of geocaching and so all cache types, sizes, terrain and difficulty will be up for scavenging. TrigPoints, Events, History, Virtual, Webcam, Podcache and Locationless geocaches are all scavengable, so you're not just looking for a box under a bush. Each week there will be a mix of physical, non-physical and locationless geocaches so even if you are not in a geocache rich area, use the locationless component of scavenger series to get out, find something to log and gain points for your state. If you watch the scavenges as they are released you might also spot the 'not so hidden' patterns and plan for future weeks of the series.
Hiding geocaches will also be a large part of the scavenger series, but please remember this is a game of geocaching and geocaches that you hide should be long lasting, be of good quality and you should be proud of what you hide. Please avoid hiding a geocache just for the day so your state can find it before you archive it. Geocaches that exist for a short period of time may result in any claims on that geocache being disqualified. Play creatively, but also play fairly. More geocachers hiding more geocaches makes for more geocaching fun.
