Logs
Solved this one a few days ago and walked to it from another nearby solved SOTN cache.
While logging this one was pleased to see Mr Beetle pulling up nearby saving me a long steep climb back up to the car.
Thanks.

Thanks for the hint, it made it very easy to find...hmmm, why is that rock on a tree stump??? TFTC.
Second find of the GCA puzzle caches today. There were some inchmen where the cache was, so I moved it slightly. TFTC
Back in the area caching to try to take advantage of the x5 points during the Commonwealth Games. This one was a fairly straight forward find after the burnt out area nearby gave us a DNF. Didn't realise there would be so much traffic on this road but the fine weather brings people out. TFTC and the puzzle
Found this cache while in Launceston
It was a hard days walking - Up hill and down dale - with much scurb bashing

While up North for a few days for family commitments (a 90th birthday) a few caches were found and this was one of them. We enjoyed solving the puzzles as they were published during the summer games, so it is now nice to be able to log the ones we were unable to complete during the games. Thanks for showing us this area as not been along here before. TFTP

A nice quick puzzle and an easy find. That was so unlike any other cache we had fond today and I almost didn't bother looking in the right place but it was too tempting so I did and there it was. Thanks Tassie Trekkers for an easy one, much appreciated this late in the day
A comment to stainless steel rat on Thursday night turned into a plan rather quickly over the following 24 hours. After a later than expected Friday night I dragged myself out of bed while the clock still started with a 5, Urgh!
My first stop was the Rats Nest to pick up stainless steel rat and after loading his things in the car we departed at 6.05am. Our first stop was Mood Food for coffee and to find some lunch to throw in the esky for later, followed by a much needed stop at the train park in Perth (to offload the coffee), then it was on to the house of TazScout for another round of coffee.
We spent the whole day caching in various parts of Trevallyn Reserve and then picked up a few other caches as we left there late in the day. We found traditional caches, puzzle caches, a trig point, some moveable caches, a pod cache, a reverse cache, a beacon cache, a gadget cache, a night cache and a multi-cache. We also found a cache of EVERY terrain type from an easy T1 right through to a ‘fun’ T5.
After a late dinner in town, we returned back south with a couple of fresh air stops on the way. After dropping stainless steel rat back at his nest, I arrived home at 11.45pm absolutely exhausted.

After moving the car it was a short walk to this one and another quick find for the day, with Goose of GooseandEgg, cache in good order, thanks.
This trip was a spur of the moment thing only first dreamed up on Thursday night, GooseandEgg wanted to clean up a few new caches in the North so with the weather looking good for today we left home at 6am and got back home at 11:30pm. Thanks for great day out.

Solved lots of puzzles this summer but haven’t found the time to find them or if I have looked I can’t seem to find them however I had more luck with this one. Found after driving up and down the road a couple of times trying to work out where to stop. Lots of people around today and the weather is great but just hoping it is too hot for slithering sticks! No luck with another nearby cache but I will try again. TFTC Tassie Trekkers - you have been very busy this summer.
This puzzle looked familiar and we soon had some coordinates that looked feasible and that the geochecker agreed with. We still had plenty of time today and no pressing reason to hurry back to the coast so after finding a parking spot near by we made our way to GZ and soon spotted the hide for this little micro cache container. All was in good condition and we were able to make a quick grab, sign and replace before the next group of muggle dog walkers came by.
Thanks for another puzzle cache Tassie Trekkers and some more useful scavenge points.
