Description
Take a photo of a bollard
when I saw this Pelican at Tooradin recently it certainly brightened my day.
Take a photo of a carved and painted bollard (not the sort that line the city streets to stop ram raids), the type that are it there to put a smile on your face.
Please include the coordinates to be able to share your find with others, but it's not necessary to have either you, or your GPS in the picture.
There is already a Locationless for the Geelong seaside ones, but any others would love to be inluded in this gallery.
Please don't duplicate previous finds.
You may log more than once providing there is another find between them.
Congratulations to Gullivers Travels54 on First To Find

I love the Bollards along the Geelong waterfront, and frequently walk along there when I'm visiting teamashy.
This one is a favourite as I love doing Photography.

We were in maryborough to find the outstanding hides on our list and one of those was close to here.
Maryborough's Bollards
Maryborough's Bollards are seven colourful bollards overlooking the Mary River in the Mary River Parklands.
They represent a sea captain welcoming a family of immigrants landing at the Port of Maryborough in the 1860s.
In 1855 approximately 18,000 square metres of decking and warehouses were constructed creating the new wharves that would later become the Port of Maryborough.

I love how the tiny town of Chiltern decorated their streets for the festive season,
They must have so many people there adept in the use of knitting needles or a crochet hook.
These bollards certainly brightened my day when we drove past.

I hope this is ok this bollard was found on a house boat trip on the Murray from Mildura in 2014 – it’s a cache bollard – took me a bit of time to figure it out & ended up with scratches up my legs getting it out –

When driving down High Street in Shepparton today Muggle Hubby pointed out the Santa Claus and Mary Christmas bollards brightening up the Mall. He kindly drove around the block again, this time with my iPad camera ready to take a photo.
It was worth the trip to get these shots.

Thanks Cybergran V for the cache.
