The Soft Hamsters

The Soft Hamsters

The Soft Hamsters is a movable cache. Find it, log it, move it and re-log its new position. Too easy and lots of fun.

I am into strange or unique names, and I thought I would have a little fun with this movable name, only because I didn't know what to call it.

Reading previous logs, this moveable may still be in location OR may have been found, removed and not relocated yet. We know moveables can sometimes be forgotten / missed / left in the bottom of a caching bag, so a check has been undertaken on this one.

An update will be posted within 28 days….

I had an afternoon grabbing a few caches, then I decided to check to see if GCA had anything new to offer - wait what! a trail of new GCA moveables was in town thanks to the lovely 2'ystassies, I love GCA caches, but alas people usually come to Adelaide and take the movables back with them interstate without dropping some new ones for us to find - not today, SA has been restocked and I will get these out and scattered as soon as possible.

A quick find in an area that's become a bit of a hot spot for moveable caches in recent times. A great place for moveable caches, lots of places to hide, not far off the main road and hardly anyone ever goes there! We'll move this one towards the north of the state asap. TFTC

Headed down to Melbourne for the Meet the Moveables event at Brimbank Park, where this moveable, along with about 120 other were found. A good turn out at the event and everyone seem to have a lot fun talking about all things caching while finding the moveables and getting a start on the Journey or Destination summer game. A good couple of hours were spent in the area before witching hour rolled around and it was time to head back up the highway towards home. T'was an uneventful trip and with the number of moveable on offer, was certainly worth the drive.

Thanks for the moveable.....

A quick pickup of moveables today for a secret meeting to take place in just a little while. Your geocache would like to join the secret activities so it may not move for a little while but it will be safe and sound and will be moved along (and hopefully logged quite a bit) in the not too distant future.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache here today.

#GA2567 - 12:45; After a very pleasant night spent in Kiama, the geohoney and I awoke to a pretty ordinary day weatherwise, although not as bad as the locals had experienced at home in Canberra. I had this moveable, one of a larger posse, on the 'to do' list today as we headed up and over Cambewarra Mountain for home. Despite the wet weather, I managed to find the turn off and made it to GZ, where I located the whole bunch together, warm and dry. I'm not sure I get the naming convention, but hey Think They are now all on the way to Canberra to continue their journeys. TFTC Throsbyonchurch Very HappyClan Cerberus
