Description
A nice easy trad cache in the Port Fairy gardens
Come check out these public access gardens, and find a cache while you're at it! The Gardens are adjoining the Gardens Caravan Park and can be accessed from either side. East Beach is only a short walk from here. A good cache for the kids. Muggles could be a problem here as the area is used as a thoroughfare from the Caravan Park to the Moyne River bridge.

238 weeks since a find and we are 100% confident that this one is missing.
Hope it's okay with the CO but we replaced it today.
Only had a mint tin but I guess that's better than nothing.
The smallest botanical gardens we have ever been in.
Thanks TKJL.

No luck for us - we poked pretty extensively in the spots that met the clue but no prize today. We love these gardens - small but very picturesque.
We were managing to run ahead of the rain so made a quick stop and grab here - or that was the plan..
Dropped outside the gardens Mrs Y'stassie dashed to gz. Fortunately she remembered to bring her torch as the cavern was pitch black. After a few minutes she spotted the container but, having short arms, found she was unable to reach the container. Two sticks provided a means of moving the container into reach. The container was successfully extracted and the log signed. Just as she returned the container to its hide the rain began to fall.
Thanks for this challenging cache -TKJL- We loved the hide, the container and contents are in good condition however we feel that the difficulty locating the container in its hide and then extracting it warrents a higher D rating perhaps 2 or 2.5.

Checked on the cache while visiting for the long weekend! Great winter weather, had a ball at the Dachshund Dash!
In Port Fairy on a day trip with my muggle wife and went a wandering while she was enjoying herself at the day spa. I was surprised to find an empty log sheet.
Thanks
