Description
Hidden during the States of the Nation summer game.
Now we all love a border crossing, particularly on long weekends, but this one is going the wrong way for most Canberrans. It is the gateway to Wee Jasper and all that lies beyond - glittering jewels, towering forests and space - lots of space. There is another cache nearby but with all the road works going on, it may or may not survive. So, let's put a GCA one there too, just in case one goes missing. After all, border crossing signs require one for each side!
This cache is the one as you are entering the ACT and there is room to pull over. Just look for the border sign and head to the fence on the opposite side of the road :) Small sistema with a few swaps to start with.

#GA2971 - 13:10; It was somewhat of a relief to spot this cache on the approach, after having DNFd two of the CO's other caches this afternoon. Anyway, I parked at a familiar spot where I think MrDamage and I dropped by a year or so ago, perhaps even a little longer for another cache which lurks in this area. It was nice to get a find after a distinct lack of success getting here. TFTC Poldark

Pulled over on the recently widened road, and in a very short amount of time, the cache was located. Walked back across the road and collected the sister GC cache. How cool is that!

Unbelievably, just like Tankengine I arrived here as the water truck went through. Pleased to say the cache is ok, but my car will certainly need a bath...

Chooo ooo *FTF* on a warm morning. Managed to get a shower/bath next to GZ. Just as I pulled over, the water truck came by and drenched everything including the car and the cache! Thanks.
