Interesting walk along a track I hadn't been on before, I bet there are a couple more Mystery Caches hiding up here as well, so I am sure I will be back. Second of two found today. Also finally my 100th GCA!

I have a few more of these puzzles caches to find and today was the day to get this one. I was in the area getting another new cache and decided to wander a bit further afield to get this one. Why is it always easier to get back and why didn’t I see the path up here? I took the long way to get to GZ but found an easier way back. Only a couple more of these caches to find. Thanks for the puzzles and putting out these caches Tassie Trekkers.
Hi Trekkers,
Walked in from near your reverse cache to find 2 other caches along the way before this one.
Had this cache 'programmed' into the days excursion which was going to be quite taxing.
Many thanks for another very enjoyable hunt...cheers ST.

While up North for a few days for family commitments (a 90th birthday) a few caches were found and this was one of them. We enjoyed solving the puzzles as they were published during the summer games, so it is now nice to be able to log the ones we were unable to complete during the games. A nice large, well stocked cache. TFTP

As we approached GZ we saw a couple of tents so we switched into stealth mode and snuck on by. We ducked down low to retrieve the cache and had it tucked away before we were spotted. We returned much closer to the camp and saw belongings scattered around like the tents had been ransacked. Thre was nobody around so we took some pictures in case something came up later on the news.
I have to say the walk back down to the car on the track we chose was not really any easier than the walk up. It was tough on the knees and we had a few bikes scream past but we were able to cut the corners and make it a bit easier. We went back to the car for a celebratory Franks Cider. No we're not finished yet but we'd conquered that section. Thanks Tassie Trekkers.
A comment to stainless steel rat on Thursday night turned into a plan rather quickly over the following 24 hours. After a later than expected Friday night I dragged myself out of bed while the clock still started with a 5, Urgh!
My first stop was the Rats Nest to pick up stainless steel rat and after loading his things in the car we departed at 6.05am. Our first stop was Mood Food for coffee and to find some lunch to throw in the esky for later, followed by a much needed stop at the train park in Perth (to offload the coffee), then it was on to the house of TazScout for another round of coffee.
We spent the whole day caching in various parts of Trevallyn Reserve and then picked up a few other caches as we left there late in the day. We found traditional caches, puzzle caches, a trig point, some moveable caches, a pod cache, a reverse cache, a beacon cache, a gadget cache, a night cache and a multi-cache. We also found a cache of EVERY terrain type from an easy T1 right through to a ‘fun’ T5.
After a late dinner in town, we returned back south with a couple of fresh air stops on the way. After dropping stainless steel rat back at his nest, I arrived home at 11.45pm absolutely exhausted.

The last one on this trail and now it's a walk back to the car and then youve guessed it drive to another spot and then find some more GCA caches, with Goose of GooseandEgg, cache in good order, thanks.
This trip was a spur of the moment thing only first dreamed up on Thursday night, GooseandEgg wanted to clean up a few new caches in the North so with the weather looking good for today we left home at 6am and got back home at 11:30pm. Thanks for great day out.

Today was a quiet day so we decided to head to Launceston to look for some recently published caches. The high temperatures forecast for today encouraged us to make an early start. Our backgrounds enabled us to quickly solve this puzzle and we were pleased to see that this section of our grey matter was still functioning and that the checker agreed.
It was cool when we left the coast but by the time we reached the reserve the temperature was rising and the heat in the sun was quite intense. We were glad that most of the walk was in the shade and that there was a cool breeze. We hoped we had found the right track as there are many in the area. The brown butterflies were about in large numbers and added to our enjoyment of an early morning bush walk. A short detour from the track and we soon had another well stocked and well hidden Trekkers' cache in our hands. We were surprised to find a blank log book giving us a {FTF} at 9:40.
Thanks or the puzzle and this cache Tassie Trekkers the scavenge points will help swell Tassie's total in the States of the Nation game.
