Description

This cache has been published for the States Of The Nation Summer Games

Unlike nearly all of the caches in the SOTN series, this is not a puzzle. This area contains many walking, bike riding, horse riding and motor bike tracks and is used by many.

At the published coordinates you will find a sign related to one of the major attractions in the area. There is a boom gate just before the sign but we have never known it to be closed. If it is, it is only a 30m walk to the starting point for the cache.

Use the information on the sign to get values for A to F.

A = Number of times the letter "e" appears on the sign

B = Number of times the letter "s" appears on the sign

C = letter value of the first letter in the second word + 1

D = digital root of the first letter of the third word on the sign

E = number of vowels appearing on the sign

F = letter value of the sixth letter of the first word

The cache can be found at  S 41 10.ABC  E146 03.DEF

It is not far away.

Enjoy the area.

Given that most of the GA caches and indeed this series, in this area, have not been found for over 12 months, we were pretty happy with our find rate.
However, despite re-checking the sign, the calculations, and the coordinates, our thorough searching still saw us empty handed at GZ.

NOT found with AlbyDangles on day Four of the 'Bust' leg of our "Kempsey or Bust" tour.

Thanks though;
Cheers, EPs.

Found in the company of DEZ055. We couldn't have picked a better day than the first day of winter to tackle the Penguin Cradle Trail. I have been wanting to walk this trail for a long time. I have walked parts of the trail previously. This is my first attempt in walking from the Penguin end through to Hardstaff Creek. Well the legs are well and truly cooked today, but mission accomplished after walking roughly 23kms. We have completed all of the caches so far in this series.
This was an easy find after a bit of guess work as the sign is missing bits.TFTC Clan Cerberus

I solved this puzzle a few days ago, today we took the opportunity to go grab a few SOTN caches in the area. On arrival at the GZ a quick scout about and the cache was soon in hand. Signed the log and placed the cache back into its hiding place and off to find the next one. TFTC I’m really enjoying completing the SOTN series. Clan CerberusVery Happy

Read the first sign (where the coordinates are) and couldnt work out a good answer. Only then did I would out that the sign is broken and missing a word as per the second sign over the road.
TFTC.
Took the longer way to walk to this cache, and then it took me quite a while to actually find cache.
Found this cache on a 2 day trip to the NW, covering over 1000 kms and finding around 100 caches of both GCA and GC

Found while on a big caching trip to the North West with Tassie Trekkers and gooseandegg. While walking the PCT we managed to pick up a few extra caches on the way. We managed to agree on the answers and the cache was found. Time for a lunch break before tackling the rest of the trail. Another in this series ticked off. TFTP

Today we targetted the PCT trail with whitewebbs and gooseandegg. This was one we found closeby, gathered required info and soon had cache in hand. Time for lunch and a rest here. Cache and contents in good condition.

Many thanks 2y'stassies for publishing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience.

I did have a smile on my dial, because I enjoy a multi. This is an easy one for even a young child to solve but out weary heads didn't seem to be able to count and we ended up with four different answers for one question. we got there in the end though and found the cache before tucking into lunch and having a short rest TFTC 2y'stassies

The weather early today wasn't too good so decided to look for a cache nearby.
Arrived at gz where the coords were quickly sorted which I put into C:geo but then the run around began. This app obviously performs way better when in phone service, so put the coords into the trusty gpsr which soon had me within 1m of gz and a well hidden cache.
Cache and contents are in top condition.
Many thanks 2y'stassies for placing these caches for us all to enjoy...cheers ST.

Spotted these new caches on the screen this afternoon and we decided to make a quick trip along the coast after work to see if we could find any. We needed a GCA cache today to fill a gap on our calendar so great timing. This was the last one we attempted and after some quick calculations we headed off in what we hoped was the right direction. We managed to make a quick find once we reached GZ, our fourth FTF for the day! Just got the cache rehidden when four fellows on mountain bikers appeared, it really is all in the timing. TFTC
