Description
One of the greatest views north over Noosa to the River and beaches.
The ultimate panorama of Noosa is just a short drive away or harder walk from the town's bustling hub of Hastings Street, and provides sweeping, expansive views that extend out as far as the Glasshouse Mountains in the distance.
The site of Laguna Lookout itself is fairly simple - it's merely an extended terrace with a fenced barrier that juts out from the hillside, and there are no facilities such as picnic tables to speak of - however there's no denying it's the perfect spot for a photoshoot of Noosa's picturesque town/beach/waterway environment.
Post a photo from here showing what the view was like when you were there.
Logs
It was a little rainy when we were here so the view could have been better
Thanks for the virtual.
Thanks for the virtual.
I visited this lookout to try to find remains of an old trig station. No luck in that mission but I found splendid views to share.

Our GPS was telling us to drive up the gravel road to this one so it was a pleasant surprise to find a perfectly good bitumen road all the way to the top!!!
Lots of muggles were walking up to the lookout [must be a lot fitter than us] and there were plenty at the top too.
Didn't look out of place grabbing the required photo here as everyone else was busy snapping away too. Mind you, none of them was holding a GPS.
This is what geocaching is all about, bringing us to great places like this.
Thanks.

I love coming up here. The view is just spectacular. After spending some time at the beach, I brought the geofamily up here to admire the view before heading back to our unit. It looks like some rain out in the mountains.

Virtual cache, a great view over Noosa, panoramic.
I visited for a photo challenge... 52 weeks of 2018, week 24 Geocaching
This was a difficult challenge. I looked up Geo caches in my area and they all seemed to be micro or obsolete, and I didn't have a lot of time, as away on a cruise last week. So settled on this virtual Geo cache... who knew there was such a thing
Last minute up to Laguna Lookout in Noosa, overlooking the river, view to Mt Cooroy. The light was completely wrong, late afternoon, sun in my eyes. Not the best time for a photo, but I really love this place

What a fantastic view even though it was overcast and had been raining earlier, before we arrived.
Thank you wazza9 for bringing us here to see it.
And what a brilliant use for water storage tanks also, to be used as lookouts.
I am really enjoying the different places that Geocaching has taken us to on our week visit up here.
Now our daughter has moved up here to live I’m looking forward to many return visits to explore the area more as there are so many more Geocaches to find..
