This is my last cache hunt for the day and turned out to be a longer one. My gps seemed to be struggling and only updating irregularly, so it wandered and so did i. in addition it was dark and there have been trees down and branches broken in the area making it a bit of a tangle to search through. Eventually i uncovered a likely spot and there, safely tucked away, was the little beauty. Great fun.
Yesterday i found my first few GA caches but i had completely forgotten that there is an app for it. Instead i copied out the coords into geooh go. Today i am searching for a few more and testing out the app.

I've been waiting for a chance to look for a "real" cache. Not a locationless. Not a virtual. Not a non-physical cache. But a true box-under-a-bush type cache. You see, I have a milestone to log. Number 1000.
I did have another The Morris cache in mind for the celebration but lucked out on a DNF. I do have quite a number of locationless puzzle caches solved and have been patiently waiting to log them. Now the mass logging may begin
After a long chat with the cache owner about her and Chad's relocation and plans, kids, caching and various other topics it was suggested that this cache would be only a short drive away and a suitable milestone cache. Another reason for this particular cache is because I have just recently adopted it from The Morris and it's probably a good idea to know where and how it's hidden.
This time I had more luck and found it quite quickly after choosing the longer path from nearby parking.
My thanks to The Morris for this cache and for passing it on to me to look after.
#1000.

Out and about caching in the Bendigo area today, the weather's perfect but supposed to rain tomorrow so trying to get as many GCA caches as possible. This one was a relatively quick find after having a quick chat with the guy fishing up at the lake edge. A great cache container. TFTC

Having arrived in Bendigo, it was time to head out and round up a few GCA caches that had been published since our last visit a year ago. We love caching around Bendigo. Bendigo is the last stop for us before heading home to Tassie after attending the OzGeoMuster at Easter. Nice to catch up with the COs at the Mega. A well constructed cache hide. TFTC

As we got close to GZ we thought we knew where the cache would be hidden. Not going to be easy. But no we still had a short way to go. We were feeling releaved that we didn't have to look in there. At GZ we searched without luck then we widened the search area and something looked a little out of place. On investigation a very well constructed container revealed itself. After signing the lof and replacing everything as found we had a look around the lake. There were walking and running muggles and several fisher muggles - all well away from our arena of activity
Thanks to The Morris for yet another well constructed cache that brought us to an area we would not have otherwise visited.

It was so hot when we reached here that my iPhone had to be put into the ice chest to cool down. Luckily dalerious' one was still working. Coordinates were good, but many places it could have been hidden. Luckily I spotted the anomaly.
Thanks for another awesome hide
