Description
Big Fat Marker on the Move
After a minor catasthrophe at work, and after the frustration faded I realised that their really was a "Silver Lining". This item could make a moveable container.........recycling and game play.
This cache wants to see the sights, in the office or in the great outdoors.
Photos of travels would be appreciated.

Had a couple of days off and decided to take a drive north and grab a few caches. Stopped off to look at a Light Horse Brigade Campsite and continued on up to Two Rocks. Had a look around and grabbed a couple of other caches and then stopped for a to grab a cache out on the sea wall. once back to the car i grabbed a coffee and food at the village and headed off to Guilderton. I stopped off at Guilderton and had a short wander at the lookout to grab another cache and then grabbed some nearby caches around the town. Was very quiet here. So after a drive around i trekked through to Gin Gin and spent some time in the beautiful park in the cool shade watching the waterwheel go round while having lunch. From here i headed to Bindoon for a quick stop and then onto Avon Valley National Park.

Having only had 6 days off since Christmas I had a 2-day break for a change and decided to hit the road and log some caches, collect some moveables and see some sights. I headed off early and the journey took me to Greenmount, Darlington, Wundowie to try and find my moveable there and on to Northam for a quick break.
I headed on towards Goomalling but ended up making a detour to Malabine back to Jenapullin to grab a gc cache which had me intrigued. I then headed across to Jennacubbine which has an amazing tavern, CWA and go kart track out in the middle of nowhere in the Wheatbelt.
From there I continued up through Goomalling and up to Konnongorring for a quick stop. Off into Wongan Hills to grab some caches before heading out to Mt Brown lookout. What an amazing view from there and grabbed some caches nearby as well.
From Mt Brown I travelled across to the Gt Northern Highway and headed down to New Norcia which now has a bypass around it, so it was very quiet there. I could get out of the car and wander along the road and not one car came past amazing. From New Norcia headed on down to Bindoon to grab some caches and then eventually made my way back home.
So I ended up out for 10hrs and lots of km’s and a great day was had all round with lots of caches in tow and lots logged as well.
After leaving Wongan headed up Mt Brown for a look and grab this cache and some moveables.
Found this marker with some friends out in the country. Thanks for the cache rudi63

I took the family out for a drive and we called in to find this cache on our travels. I told Gwawr she had to stay in the car whilst we looked for this cache as the road as well as the driveway into the business was far too busy for her to be next to.
Found the cache without problems.
Log was signed with a group name. Will be moved on soon. We let Gwawr play with it on the way back home.
Thanks rudi63 for the cache.

Managed to drop this one off on my way home from this afternoon's caching activities. A nice little spot here too. Safe travels!
I managed to get out this afternoon for a few caches, and this was the first one I came to. A quick and easy find here, I will move this to a new location very soon. Thanks for the cache rudi63!
Had to head on down to the physio in North Beach to get my knee looked at and some physio work done on it after my minor bike accident in Melbourne whilst attending the mega event at Parkville last month. I hired an ebike and rode about 150 km collecting caches and sightseeing.
After visiting the physio, I noticed a couple of moveables up the coast not to far away, so decided to give the knee a bit of a workout so headed down to the walking path and enjoyed a beautiful short walk to Marmion along the sunset coast to collect 4gnomad and his marker pen friend. Once I collected them, they were excited to be going for a walk along the beach front as well on such a stunning day in Perth.
So off we went for the short walk back to North Beach and then into the car and headed back home and soon they will be off to another new location around Perth enjoying the sightseeing. Thanks for the moveable cache Rudi63 and bringing me back to this most beautiful part of Perth’s coast.

Enjoying fresh sea air in North Beach.
The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run".
The area originally formed part of the Hamersley Estate, which also included the suburbs now known as Carine, North Beach and Hamersley. These areas were owned by the Hamersley family, who arrived from Europe to settle in the Swan River Colony in 1837 and built a summer home, called "The Castle" in 1865, where their large family as well as the Perth elite congregated for summer holidays. It was later converted into the Castle Hotel, but after 75 years was demolished and subdivided in 1998.
Originally set aside as a timber reserve, the area was first settled by pastoralists in the 1860s. It served as a stopping point and watering hole along the Coastal Stock Route between Dongara and Fremantle. Cattle drovers frequented the area and Afghan camel drivers were a common sight after the opening of the goldfields in the 1890s - the area also served as a quarantine area for camels entering the colony. A number of orchards operated in the area; the only evidence which remains today is an old olive tree on Hope Street.
The only way into the area at this time was via a wooden block road built by convicts (later Wanneroo Road) and then along a limestone track to North Beach, although numerous tracks through the bushland were developed as time progressed.
During World War I, the Australian 10th Light Horse Regiment were stationed at Mount Flora on coast-watch duties, and kept their horses at a yard at the corner of modern-day Hope and Hale Streets. During the Great Depression, the area around the intersection of West Coast Drive and North Beach Road was a 'tent city' which housed "many unfortunate people on hard times".
After World War II, the area developed rapidly, and in 1954, the Postal District of North Beach was approved. By 1961, nearly all of the existing suburb had been built and settled.

Time to catch up and log all the moves made for the large number of moveable caches that we have accumulated over the last months.
On the trip out into the Wandoo forrest area with the better half doing some maintenance of my caches after a fire and we dropped off a number of moveable caches along the way.

Catching up on some logs that I have missed doing online.
Chwiliwr and the better half collected me and Gwawr to go GCA caching around the Rockingham area today.
Cache found by granddad after he walked over to get it but I was not allowed to play with it as some black stuff got on to granddad's hands from inside the container.
Thanks rudi63 for the cache.

After doing the new caches to the north the better half and I came south to pick up Gwiber and Gwawr to do some caching around the Rockingham area.
After the previous walk the other two didn't feel like doing this one across the lake bed so I went alone out to GZ. GPS took me to a pile of rocks but the cache wasn't at them so looked around and saw another pile a few metres away and there was the cache as per the hint.
Do not know where it came from but I didn't sign the log as there was a whole load of ink on the outside of the bag and inside the container and didn't want to get it all over me.
Thanks rudi63 for the cache.
