Description

Mount Ainslie Base Camp

Well - maybe Mount Ainslie isn't quite Mount Everest ! But it can be a tough walk up to the top sometimes ! This cache is nowhere near the top I'm sure you are happy to hear !

There is another reason for this cache !

This year I decided to take part in the State of the Nation Game as part of the NSW team and had so many geocachers coming together and having fun looking for and hiding caches. To top if off NSW came third behind the AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL ACT Team which blitzed the field for a well deserved WIN ! I wish I lived in the ACT !!

This cache is part of the ACT Puzzle Series No.1.  The clue in the cache (in a couple of places) will help lead you to the final cache location in the series.   The other caches in the series you will need to find are GA11961, GA11969, GA11976, GA11977 and GA11978.    Once you have found all 6 of these caches, you will be able to find the final cache in the series, GA11959…….which is located at S35 16.ABC E149 04.DEF.

Don't forget to find "E" in this cache.

BYO Pen - Have Fun !!

GCA 2,041. Found on a fun day caching around Canberra with minniek, Darzee Di and ACTChil.

A quick drive in from Goulburn and a drive-by pick-up of our days caching companions soon had us on the hunt for both GC and GCA caches. This was the next find of the day. Parked at the reserve entrance point and wandered on up and spotted this one from afar. Excellent !

TFTC minniek !!

Headed out today to knock off this series and this was no.3 for the day. Haven't been around here for a while but once at the correct parking area, it was a simple walk up to the cache where a quick find was made.
