Description
Near the Albert Facey Homestead in Wickepin
Albert Facey was an Australian writer and World War I veteran, whose main work was his autobiography, A Fortunate Life, now considered a classic of Australian literature. It has sold more than 800,000 copies. (ref Wikipedia).
The cache is a small plumbing fitting, located in a lunch hut just outside Albert Facey Homestead. A great place to stop for lunch or stretch the legs.

I was looking forward to saying I'd found a cache in Wickepin, unfortunately this wasn't to be the one. Thanks anyway.
We have travelled from A (our home in SW of WA) to B via the Savannah Way from Broome to Cairns with a two week unexpected detainment in Mackay which has set us back, now sadly travelling back to A via the Outback Way from Winton to Laverton

Left home early for a full day of GA caching. Brookton, Pingelly, Corrigin, Kondinin, Kulin, Lake Grace, North Dumbleyung, and finally Wickepin. Three times slowed down by road construction during day; but roads clear for the beeline home.

Arrived in town & setup at the Caravan Park.
Spotted this cache on the GPS.
Off we went for a wander into town & Happy to Get a FTF on the cache.
Cache coords good & Cache in good order.
Very Interesting to read all the History at the Homestead.
Also Managed FTF the Munzee across the road.
