Happy Australia Day Rod.
Had a great day out at Greta West finding half of the new Ned Kelly Helmet caches published today.
As we were leaving though I snapped our flag in the driveway that Muggle Hubby put up last night.
As you can see it was very windy at the time and raining as well.
Luckily the weather cleared after the first few caches.
Hope you both had a great day too.

Australia Day 2021 in the Blue Mountains NSW.
We have our flag out, but our next door neighbour a have a huge flag on their flagpole. With wind blowing, it makes a great photo. Thanks nOwOrries.

Been meaning to stop and grab a photo for this cache for ages now. It is quite amazing at how many businesses and private homes fly our flag. Today we walked a section of the Railton to Sheffield track and right next to where we parked the vehicles to do the walk was a house flying an Australian flag.
Of course the wind didn't cooperate [it was a very still day] and even though I took 4 photos there wasn't one that shows the flag in its full glory.
Thanks.

Thought we'd have success seeking out an Aussie flag at an Australia Day Event. Didn't think we'd find this many though..

I was at home looking through the locationless caches and stumbled across this one. This is a easy find for me because I didn't even need to leave the room I was in to make the find. As shown in the photo there is an Australian flag hanging up in the room I was in. TFTLC
Three flags, one being the North Esk, South Esk, Tamar confluence flag, the Australian Aboriginal Flag and the Blue Ensign flag of Australia, all on top of the Tamar River Cruises building, Home Point, Launceston.
We were travelling through Sulphur Creek when we saw that a resident was proudly flying the Australian Flag. We stopped and took the required photo which has been added to the Gallery. thanks n0w0rries for the cache.
Was out geocaching in the country and I saw an Australian flag.Mmm I think there is a Locationless for this and I was right. A quick scroll through the Locationless caches and I found this one. It is becoming a more popular thing to do today the Australian flag- I saw at least two in this street in Scottsdale
Muggle Hubby occasionally flies the flag at the front of our house, in rare moments of patriotism.
It’s been flying now since Anzac Day
It’s a great weather vane, at the moment you can see it is very windy with a howling southerly, meaning it’s pretty chilly outside right now.
Thanks for the Locationless n0w0rries.
A quick and easy find to keep my streak going.

In Muttaburra Qld on Anzac day and attended the longest dawn service ever at 105 minutes. thjen Went to the School for the 0900 commemoration service then back to the RSL hall at 1800 for the community dinner and entertainment. Flag was pride of place on the stage. Muttaburra is a very small community in the Barcaldine Regional Council Area. Population of less than 100. Most of that population was at the two services. #GA2626 - 09:50; Day two of the 2018 Oz Geomuster mission with Sol de lune. albida33 would be joining us today to hunt down the 'OZ GM' trail. Before hitting the road for the day though, there was time to catch up with a few more fellow cachers and perhaps sign a feww more cacher logs. After breakfast, I headed around the traps with Sdl and we did indeed find some fine fellow cachers with their own cacher caches. After visiting a few cachers, we caught up with n0w0rries on our way back to camp. Exchanged a bit of geobanter and grabbed a couple of his other caches, including this one. Hope you enjoy your time at the Mega. TFTC n0w0rries
