Description
Is it Brabazon Point or One Tree point?
A simple tradition cache hidden a little Northeast of the point in question.
It was only as I was researching into the name of this location that I discovered that it used to be called One Tree Point, now maybe it was called One tree Point before the Brabazon family renamed it due to their nearby Brabazon Park.
Or it could be from when there was a township called Brabazon at the Huon River in the 1850s?
Whatever the reason behind the name, the views from here on a good day a very nice and makes a visit well worth the drive.
Please replace the camo along with the container to ensure the longevity of the cache.

Another pretty spot to visit and a twofer with the trig nearby. Always great to find a decent size cache where warranted rather than a hanging bison. thanks for the effort and the cache
A nice easy find and good views from here. After finding this cache we went to look for the nearby trig but it has become a dumping ground for wallaby carcasses and we think the survey marker was probably underneath some rotting animal! TFTC!

Found this cache while out and about. Been here before to search for a cache that wasn’t there. This one was in a slightly different location and was quickly found.
Was looking at the interesting pole on the point which seemed to have a fold down feature allowing quick and easy access to the solar panel

Arrived in Huonville after a scenic journey via Plenty Valley Road. Nice location for a cache with a bonus trig as well.

We saw there had been new caches published linking New Norfolk to Huonville so we thought we might head off and find them and quite a few others in the Huon area that had been published while we have been away. As we had planned to see the grandsons play their soccer matches it was nearly lunchtime before we made a start. Seeing the New Norfolk end cache had been found we decided to head to the Huon Valley area and then work our way to New Norfolk via the Plenty Link Road.
We got to OldSaint's multi not far from this cache, the place was over run with wedding muggles, so we continued on to locate this new cache. Very calm on the water today. A nice size cache was quickly located and signed. TFTC

We were on a mission today to complete our challenges for May. We had a plan with caches identified and routes organised. This cache had popped up along our route so we decided to look for it as if we left it it would be our only unfound cache in this area.
Even though the unsealed section of the road in was wet and slippery from the over night rain the short track down to the cache was drier than expected and not at all slippery.
We parked in the turning circle and made our way to GZ where we were faced with a pile of discarded take away containers and glass bottles. It looked like the locals had had a party here recently. We cleaned up the mess then looked for the cache. We were glad it was so well hidden as the party goers must have been sitting on or extremely close to the stump. Container and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for this cache Stainless-Steel-Rat. This is a pretty spot well worth a hide. We hope the cooler weather will keep the rubbish dumpers away for a while.

a quick find for me but I had been here before. This is a top spot on a sunny day, unlike the last visit when it was blowing a gale. nice hide, log dry . TFTC stainless-steel-rat
The Cygnet Coast Road is one of our favourite drives, so it was great to see a couple of new caches in the area. We lucked out at the nearby multi but will still enjoy coming down again to have another go. Loved the area that you have placed this cache in. aus2 went to look for the cache (and found it) while I walked down the water's edge, beautiful views up and down the river. Thanks for the cache SSR.

Hi Rat
After doing some heavy duty work not done by me for such a long time yesterday, I slept reasonably well last night
Woke to check things on the data storage and this new piece of information was available
Donned some clothing, as I was born in my pajamas; mounted the cache mobile and drove BACK to this point to make a *FTF*
The cache was Sainted at 0920 hours on a drizzly and misty morning
Hope to get a few more points as a result of this cache
So many thanks for hiding it - thanks for the find, the FTF and your friendship
Cheers OldSaint
