Description

Hoskinstown Cemetery

Stop by to have a look at this lovely old church and graveyard. It is a quiet country town but there is a lot of history here.

Access is through the church gate and please respect any services being given at the time.

Although there is no vault at gz, the graveyard has interesting gravestones to read.

Please watch for muggle and please replace as found.

After finding the nearby multicache I noticed this one too, so I excused myself from my non-geocaching passenger who wanted to go home. This extra cache didn't take long Laughing. The best cache today. Cache and log are good. Then I headed home. TFTC Kittykatch.

We were quite concerned that this one was on private property, but we eventually found a way in - and we were glad we had, as we found a pathtag in the cache!
Thanks, KittyKatch!

Another day and another caching trip. Today was an ALL7 trip to Hoskinstown and Bungendore. I have been to this old church before, but it is a nice place to visit so I was happy to check out this cache.

Thanks

#GA3869 - 09:55; Out on a caching run with albida33 to grab a few caches between Hoskinstown and Bungendore, so we headed through the town to grab this one. Spotted the likely hide on the approach and soon had the cache in hand and log signed, before I set off on the trail of the resident GC multi as well. TFTC Kittykatch Very HappyClan Cerberus

One couldn't ask for better geobuddies than the two I was out with on this glorious autumn day. The weather, the company and the caches were all perfect - well except for one slight thing- there was only one GCA cache aqmongst the over 60 caches we found. This was it and it soon carried Joolay's and my name. After signing duties were completed the cache was returned to its hidey hole. Thanks for the cache and your company today KittyKatch. Thought I had found this but apparently not. Lovely day to be out and about. Found with Smittengranny picking up caches in the area. TFTC

(Re log after the site issue on 9 Jan)

Haven't been out this way for a while and with a couple of caches in the area, decided an afternoon drive was on the go. Arrived to find the gates open so drove up to a shady spot and then headed down to GZ. Cache was a quick find and and my name was soon in the log. From there I had a wander around the grounds learning a bit more about some of the older locals....

Thanks KK....

My second visit to this spot (the first being for a GC multi). Always nice to poke around here and find a cache.

Thanks,

Chooo ooo *FTF* on a lovely Monday morning! I did see this when it came out, but the eventually forgot all about it. However, after a nudge on the weekend from the CO, I decided I better get my act together and head out here. A lovely old church here, and a nice quick find, thanks KK.
