A nice walk to an interesting little spot you'd never visit if not for the cache! Got to GZ and then soon found the cache after a short search.

Day 85 Mainland trip - OZGM
Now based at Cataract Park we headed out today with Tassie Trekkers in the rain looking for trigs and grabbed this cache as well. Wow what an old cemetery. TFTC

Stopped in the parking area at the back of the Garrawarra Centre and a nice stroll along the fire trail till reached an area to turn off. A nice quick find signed the log and replaced as found. Diolch wazza9

While off for the public holiday started off in Helensburgh and decided to get all the caches in this area. It was alright getting the trig & the GC caches but this gave me a lot more trouble. Got to within 50 metres then headed in while watch the GPSr counting down, not where I was going, walked straight into a large spiders Web face first. I tried to untangle myself by using my Dancing With The Spiders moves but on uneven ground with undergrowth & no ACL in my left knee soon ended up sitting on the ground with my left leg under me, not feeling too pleased with myself.
Spent a bit of time sitting on the ground checking how I felt about trying to stand eventually picked up the courage to give it a go. A bit stiff but while I'm here feeling sorry for myself went a little bit further found the cache
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache wazza9

Spend most of the morning doing GCA caches and knocking of some solved puzzles in the area. Now I only have a few left in my radius.

This was such an interesting place. I had no trouble finding the cache but unfortunately didn't see the war grave, even though i spent quite some time walking around. I found this fantastic video online detailing more of the history.
