Description
Parkridge Estate Park is a fantastic area of bushland with paved paths connecting between streets. There are two playgrounds, plus a dog exercise area nearby this cache. It's normal to see plenty of people coming to and from the playgound with their kids and/or dogs. There's plenty of birds, lizards and other wild life in the area for the observant cacher to enjoy.
This cache is a camouflaged 1l Systema container, and contains a variety of swaps.

We were in the area checking out the AL series and this cache was on the list that we were passing. I made this a lot harder than it needed to be because the GSP had told me to park at the entrance to the housing estate and walk 250m to the cache. Yeah! Right!. That 250m turned into about 1km after I took the detour around the trail to get across the creek.
It was a quick find once I arrived at GZ. Now to take the long b=walk back to the car.

Although I haven't yet any idea how this whole Geocaching Australia System is working, I went today to find a first one.
We couldn't manage to get an arrow working, but we inserted the coords of this cache as a waypoint in the other Geocaching Map, and followed those arrows.

Our Garmin gave us a poor parking option for this one so we ignored that and made our own way to a better spot near the Compass building.
Mr Beetle waited with the van while I walked past the dog run, across the grass under the trees, and across the path to a spot that fit the clue perfectly.
Was a bit loathe to expose the cache as there may have been a nasty under there too but all was good.
Thanks, good to get a GCA cache as there doesn't seem to be many around here.

I've driven past this cache heaps of times over the last year, but today I had the time for a short walk. A quick find in the obvious spot.

#GA347 - 14:55; Arrived in Brisbane this morning with Sol de lune for day 1 of a long planned mission to cache South East Queensland. After collecting the hire geomobile, we headed up to Mount Gravatt for our first stop and to grab a couple of snaps of the local trig. It was then on to Redlands to try our hand at the Australiana series, then on towards Caboolture collecting a couple more along the way. Parked at the shops and headed off on a solo run for this cache as Sdl had logged it on a previous visit. Once at GZ it was a nice quick find and sign before heading back to the geomobile as a wild storm apporoached. TFTC ClockworkLemon

Out and about with wombles to create some new smileys in this neck of the woods.
This one was our last stop for the day.
Not sure what was happening but I managed to walk us around in a circle before getting to GZ which was just off the path.
Like wombles had mentioned to me earlier!
A quick find, all is well with this beasty.
Thanks for the cache ClockworkLemon

While looking at stats on gca a few nights ago, I realised there are gca caches here now!
So today, after a very busy day I headed out this way before school pickup.
A nice quick find!

Having previously lived in the Parkridge Estate for a number of years I knew this area, so being back in town for a few days I had to headed out to give this one ago. Parked near a place that I spent plenty of money in over the years and took the short walk past the dog exercise area and over to GZ. Once in the general area, the cache was soon in hand and the log signed. Cache was replaced and I was off back to the car and another one up the road.
Thanks ClockworkLemon, always cool to grab a FTF, especially in an stomping ground
