Today our plan was to cache along the Plenty Valley Rd and this was one we found on our journey. Enjoyed the drive and scenery along this road that we had not traversed before. Thanks for bringing us to a new location. We love exploring these back roads. Quick find here.

Many thanks Old Saint for publishing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience.

Thanks for the cache OldSaint. Out today with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP. Neither of us had ever driven along this road before, so it was all a new experience for us (the GeoGSP is not allowed to drive, but he is very good putting his head out of the wind with his tongue hanging out Very Happy ). This one took a little while - RLD4963 tried to struggle through the cutting grass, whilst I - once again - tried to peruse from the perimeter. Whilst I was musing that a new species of plant was being used for this kind of hide it suddenly appeared before my eyes - hooray! Cheers.

Out and about with the Rafas for the summer GCA game, New Years Day caching with god company. Driving on a new road to me as I have never been out this way before. Nice views towards the middle section but concentrating on driving so missing some of the views. equal hardest cache to find for me, missed sighting it on the front of trees so tried to go through, no luck then went around, then Tarcey said "here it is". TFTC TNLN log dry.

This cache was located quickly, signed and a photo of some spectacular ferns and off we go

We often have trouble locating these hanging caches however we followed instructions and the cache almost hit the shorter team member on the nose. So glad our run of quick finds was continuing and it looked like we may be able to make the end of the road before the light gave out.

Thanks for another cache on this road Old Saint.

Having never done this link road I was really looking forward to it. It was cold and misty to start but the sun was shining by the time we arrived here and we had enjoyed some magnificent views. My GPS let me straight to the arrow and SSR soon spotted the cache as he was at the right angle. Cache logged quickly as he happy take another FTF here. Really FTF didn't matter today, it was about the adventure and the view. We had a damn good day, thanks Old Saint

Myself and gooseandegg had planned to do this road picking up the few caches along it, this was mid week and we were very pleased to see some new caches come out that were on the same road, what a bit of luck!

I was round the bird cage by 9.30 and on the road not long after, when we found the first cache of the day the jerry was still low and we had no views, not long after we were taking in some amazing vistas.

We had a great day out on a road I had never been on before.

Thanks for the cache. Oh and joint FTF with the Goose.

We saw there had been new caches published linking New Norfolk to Huonville so we thought we might head off and find them and quite a few others in the Huon area that had been published while we have been away. As we had planned to see the grandsons play their soccer matches it was nearly lunchtime before we made a start. Seeing the New Norfolk end cache had been found we decided to head to the Huon Valley area and then work our way to New Norfolk via the Plenty Link Road.
Having completed the caches in the Huon area we headed off to find 3 new caches and this was the second last one. We have never travelled from Huonville through to New Norfolk on this road so enjoyed our trip. By the time we got here it was nearly dark and we were looking intently and came up with the cache quite quickly. The road was in good condition, considering the rough weather that has been in the area recently. It was about 6 degrees and rather cool, but by the time we got home the temperature had risen and was 9 degrees. Always warmer on the eastern shore! TFTC
