Logs
We've found ourselves with an extra day so decided to make a quick trip to Winton. As this cache was on our way we stopped to sign the log. Thans for another cache in this area Tassie Trekkers. All was quiet in this rest area today.
Found It!
After failing to find the other cache in this rest stop, I wandered over here and found this one easily!

We are off on a trip to the Birdsville Races and then across to Queensland - the plan is for about 6 weeks of travel - all going well.
Week 1 we have travelled from Portland to Farrell's Flat near Clare.
Week 2 was Clare to Port Augusta.
Week 3 Port Augusta to Birdsville.
Week 4 Birdsville to Aramac
Day 37 and we are in Longreach for QOGM. Today is the first day and we headed out to start some of the trails. All caches along the trail were found - some too quite a bit of looking though,
Thanks for contributing to our holiday Tassie Trekkers

I have replaced this one at the posted
co ordinates. The GC.COM cache that was also at this sign has been moved a good distance west if this sign.

This one has been removed in confusion with an archived GC hide and the placement of a NEW GC hide for QOGM 2023.
I will replace this one when I arrive in Longreach on the 12th September.

I chased some GCA caches close by.
Then I managed to put a smiley on this one too.
Think there may be some confusion here now.
Seems to be a new GC cache in this spot too!!

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 142. Barcaldine Day 1. With no pressing targets in mind today, I decided to do a day trip to Longreach, so I could visit a few caches and say I drove that far as well as went on the train. A short stop at Illfracombe on the way home made for a fun day out in the warmer than the last few days.
I could see the cache, but it would not come out. A new skin has been added to the sign with tek screwed runners put at the bottom. I had to undo one a bit to get the container free. It is all good now for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache Tassie Trekkers

Whilst travelling outback QLD collected all and everything I could, staying in Longreach with friends.
Haha... that's a sign with some outback humour. I didn't notice the name of the place where the beer's colder than a mother-in-law's kiss but I reckon it'd have to be fairly chilled. TFTC Tassie Trekkers.

Heading the long way home after 9 nights in Blackall Qld for QOGM 2019.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find. GC caches are a few far and between on these outback roads.

(FTF). Drove out and there was enough room to park a Jumbo jet here in this spot. Parked and walked down to the sign. Quick find. All good.
