Description
The Capricorn Highway can be a bit of a boring drive in some sections, so to keep you alert, set your GPSr for this cache and at least you'll have something to keep an eye out for.
The actual GZ is a short-ish drive up a dirt side road, but nothing too much to worry about.
The object of the cache is get you out of the car for a leg stretch and maybe get you of the bitumen for a couple of kilometres. Once at GZ the cache will be an easy find. There is certainly enough area to pull off the road, however if you are towing something...it could be a little tricky to do a u-turn.
Hope you enjoy a little break from your main drive....

#GA5605 - 13:15; Day four of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. Spent the night in Mundubbera and after breakfast at the local bakery, collected a couple of local GC caches before hitting the road, final destination today Emerald. Took a short tour down the track to do a maintenance check on this one once I'd found it. Checked a couple of spots before the cache revealed itself and was found to be in good order. We celebrated with some ham rolls for lunch! TFTC Sol de lune

It has been awhile since this one was placed and I am a GCA addicted geocacher.
On our way from Nanango to our overnight stop in Emerald Qld. Making our way to Winton. turned off the highway and very soon parked adjacent to GZ. Very quick short walk and soon had the container in hand. The container was well placed and hidden but had some mud over it from rain run off. Wiped it off but the contents were very dry. All good here. TFTC Sol De Lune
