We were running out of time so we made this cache our last for today before we high tailed it into Melbourne to catch the ferry. We could see where previous finders had driven so used their tracks to get us close. We spotted items mentioned in the hint and soon had the cache container in hand. The container and contents were in good condition.

On checking our GPS we found we were 14m south of the published coordinates.

Thanks for this cache Bob Tomkins, the series that we have found so far and the tour of the district. We will be back sometime next year to finish off the GCA caches in the area.

We dounf this cache about 11-14m from the co-ordinates but it is a logical location (althgough we were worried by the recent burning off here) and the cache is in good condition down in the corner.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache here today.

GCA Find #234

A quick find today. A local asked if I was O.K. when I stopped near GZ. No camo on the cache so if was a quick find. The Sun's UV may degrade the cache container over time. Very HappyClan Phoenix

Thanks LKR

#GA3047 - 16:55; Headed south for a weekend of football with Sol de lune and toy hunters and now in Kilmore on the hunt for caches in the Historical Society series (Probably more aptly named the Lancefield to Kilmore Railway series). Another wet one, but time saved using the coords kindly provided by Team Ladava. The car needs a wash now too Doh TFTC Bob Tomkins/lkr Very HappyClan Cerberus

A weekend trip to Melbourne to attend a few AFL games with LuckyL10n and Toy Hunters gave us he opportunity to head off the main road and try these new Geocaching Australia caches.

The weather was certainly not with as the started to pour just as we arrived at the first cache. We found this ok and were pleased with the updated co-ords by Team Ladava. With those co-ords in hand we had the cache in hand quickly. It was a juggle under the umbrella to get the log signed, however everything went well and the log was signed and the cache replaced without issue.

Thanks LKR....a neat little series of caches showing off a few interesting areas...even with the rain preventing us have a good look around.

Found on an excellent footy trip to Melbourne with Sol de lune and LuckyL10n. The rain was really pouring now, but we pressed on. After pulling up at GZ it was a reasonably quick find in a lovely little area in the country. TNLNSL. TFTC LKR!

Found by Sunbury based Team Ladava on a rare day out caching but this series appeared on our notifications.
We loved the concept of the series; the informative cache notes, the large containers appropriate to the rural location and the comprehensive hints.
We were not so keen on the inaccurate coordinates and the containers hidden under the leaf litter which at this time of year, with so much covering the entire area, made for difficult finds or DNF’s and experience tells me minimal cover and cache security during summer.
First to Find.
An easy find however I suggest S37° 17.991 E144° 53.150 would be more accurate coordinates.
Locations like this are 'the icing on the cake' of Geocaching with the locals hosting us anonymously to their favourite spots.

Our thanks to Bob Tomkins for the cache and bringing us to this location.
