Description
Intertwined - A seaside installation with a great view.
Intertwined was crafted by Aly de Groot and many others aross the top ot the NT from reclaimed ghost net rope embodied in metal by bronze sculptor Philip Piperides. A plaque set under the pair of stingers explains more about it.
Intertwined sits right by the walking and cycling path heading out from Parap to East Point Reserve. Easy parking is nearby.
The site offers views over Fannie Bay too. Don't be in too much of a hurry.

Day 68 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic, after a the JLWEvents in Wudinna SA, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, through to Allice Springs, Uluru and now Nth NT, we have finally escaped the southern weather that has been wet and windy. Not sure that we are acclimatised to the northern heat yet as we are feeling it by early afternoon, but out sightseeing and caching in the morning. It is also day 67 of a streak, so we would like to keep it rolling.
Took hubby to go crabbing today and my goal is to find the cache types required for this months challenge. I managed all but the event.

Our last day in Darwin. We have the day free for caching, so are grabbing various challenges and puzzles mainly, with whatever else appears… This morning we concentrated in the outer CBD area while the rest of the team went fish feeding. We then headed out to East Point, then up to Lee Point chasing more '4's....
