Thought I would tackle this one today. Unloved for 3 years. Sad walked around for a little and then spotted something that reminded me of one of my hides. Sure enough that was what I wanted. Smile Thanks for this one Team Ladava ClappingClapping

We were coming to a Family Christmas BBQ in Bullengarook today so I organised us to leave half an hour early from home so that I could find this cache on the way. My driver negotiated us through the Recreation Reserve and then it as just a short walk for me to the cache. It was well hidden and I was careful to cover it before I left.
Back through the reserve we looked at the Pony Club that my cousins and their children had attended and the School Primary that was their place of education.
Thank you Team Ladava for this cache, which will gain me points as part of the 'States of the Nation' game. Clan Cerberus

Many thanks Team Ladava for publishing this cache for our enjoyment and adding to our geocaching experience today. Excellent camo had us guessing for a while - a satisfying find in the end.

#GA1108 - 10:55; Day 4 of the Melbourne Mega Mission with Sol de lune and we were now headed for Canberra after a successful few days of caching. Like the outward journey, today's focus was on a few GCA caches before we reached the Hume Highway and made a beeline for home. Another short detour from the main road, parked the geomobile, through the gate and the hunt was underway. Checked a number of possibilities and was about to abandon the hunt, when we checked that 'one last thing' and made the find. The effort which has gone into this cache is much appreciated by us, but would be nice if it's not almost 3 years before the next find! TFTC Team Ladava ClappingClan Cerberus

Grabbed with LuckyL10n as we headed home from the Surf Coast Mega....

Arrived at GZ, headed through the gate and started the search...and were still searching 10 minutes later. Thought we were going to miss this one, but then checked on more place and came up with the good. Neat little hide that had us going (and worried) for a while. For a cache that hasn't been found in while, it is certainly in good condition and now waiting for the next finders.

Thanks Team Ladava....neat little hide. *Recommended*

A couple of days away to collect a few caches.
Late logging so apologies for not personalising logs.

I was at the event this was placed for - was it really that long ago? I know this hiders credentials well enough to not to bother looking for the usual which meant that I spotted this very neat camo job fairly quickly. A nice hide that has been found by at least 2 lots of muggles who have loved the idea. TFTC I&S

I rolled up to this very horsey area and hopped out of the geomobile for a quick search to find the cache Very Happy
Five minutes later and having looked everywhere three times I could not find it Shocked
"Use the notes.... If" Exclamation
OK, so it's a sneaky hide.
That changed everything Doh
Another poke around wearing my geocachers eyes got me the cache find in under five minutes Dancing
Oh that camo is absolutely DARSTARDLY Twisted Evil
I thoroughly approve Mr. Green

Found by Bob at 1235

After enjoying some quick success with the other nearby Ladava toughie, I was feeling confident on approaching this one. Considering the hide, my confidence was a bit misplaced (although I didn't know that at the time) and a quick wander around had me wondering if the cache was on the other side of the fence. Deciding this was unlikely, I proceeded to check the (rather few) possibilities on my side and was pretty happy to come up with the rather interesting and very well camouflaged cache.

Thanks again Team Ladava

After a failure to find CITR#2 just a short distance away we drove across the grounds to this cache and a reasonably quick find. The gps put us around 8m away but the heavy tree cover contributed to that. Numerous geotrails through the grass showed that we were not the first team to look in a number of places before locating the clever hide.

Thanks Team Ladava.

PS. I didn't take note of the cache code when I was typing up this log and then tried to publish it through GSAK to my GC account. It failed and that alerted me to the fact that this is a GCA cache.

I curently have around 75 GCA finds but this cache marks the first ever traditional GCA cache I have found. All the others have been locationless types.

I wasn't sure that we were allowed to go where the GPSr pointed, but once I got over that it was quickly found....but only because I was expecting a cunning hide. Good work as always. Thanks.

31-Mar-10
I was scratching around for a bit looking for the cache until i looked at the GPS and saw that it was a lavada cache, within about 2 seconds of discovering that information, i had the cache in hand. Thanks for the hide and great to see on of the GCA hides still active in the area after the event.

Was starting to get frustrated and about to give up, when by chance I moved it.

Cool hide.

Find #09 of 18 on my "Dad's Taxi trip to Macedon" day.

Drove through from the Bacchus Marsh Rd to within 5 metres of GZ for this one. A quick find, while the local horse watched me over the fence. Very clever camo job here. Exited via the rear gate which was already wide open, for me, which made for quick access to the GC cache further along Walsh Rd. Cheers!

I found this one with Last of the Time Lords, thinking it was Christmas in the Ranges #2! I really should check the name of the waypoints before I start searching!
I stumbled across the cleverly concealed container thinking I was looking for a micro! TFTC Team Ladava.

I was some distance away from where the cache was when our group found it. A testimony to the cleverness of the cammo.
Many thanks for another tricky one!

23-Nov-08
Found in company of many.I now cringe when Team Ladava says just put out a new hide. All that time sitting doing not much at all but dreaming up more devious ways to keep cachers confused. And just to add insult to injury he goes and puts in an offset as well. And they call me mongrel. Tnx Team Ladava

23-Nov-08
Ahhh..how many times have we done this before.
I seem to recall other caches of a similar standard and configuration.
Yes, like the others the offset co-ords throw you a bit, but the idea is to search. Can't make it to easy, can we?
Thanks to Team Ladava for a most interesting series of caches and the variations in styles. It opened my eyes to the possibilities.

Found by Adam while at the event. Wonderful hide! Thanks Team Ladava

22-Nov-08
Logging as a find with some embarrassment as it was part of a lesson in how devious some Hiders can be. Very well done, Team Lavada, you took our experience to a new level.

22-Nov-08
Rhinogeo and us were having a little trouble locating this cache and as we could see the next group fast approaching we had to call the help line and they pointed us in a different direction. Found pretty quickly after that. We had also seen another one of those in Bendigo recently, so we should have found it quicker.

22-Nov-08
Found in company with the get-together group at the christmas event. Thanks Team Ladava and the organising Team.

Found 22/11/2008 14:29 Smile. This one took a lot longer as we searched in and out and around about until after Ian of The Swaggies called a helpline the cache was revealed Smile

Found at 3.00pm GAFF5. Once again not good enough to find it. Didn't know about the "intentional offset" as we would not have poured over that structure for so long. A good camo in any case. Thanks Team Ladava.

Way to go - mob effort - never been part of one of these before. Great cache that I would have been pleased with myself to have found on my own.

22-Nov-08
Found by (shown to) Uncle Jiffy on 22 Nov 2008 in the presence of many others and the guru who made and hid it. I wasnt even close on this one. Well done Ian another great hide.

Another cache found with a group at the event. Robmc came up with this one despite a bit of a furphy from a previous finder. At least either this one or #6 should stay also please Team Ladava!

22-Nov-08
The co-ords were out, intentionally we were told. Crikeys, it was hard enough without the extra resistance offered by this factor.

A nice technique. I'd walked right up to it, but was facing the opposite direction, so didn't even see it, let alone give it consideration.

22-Nov-08
Someone had just found this as we approached so we got to log the find too! Nice camo!! TFTC

22-Nov-08
Came across another team as we approached it, who luckily for us, picked it up in our presence, signed our name for us, and put it back again. Ahh, teamwork at it's best. TFTHelp Chewinprickles & Gang, and TFTC Team Ladava

Found with pandpp, whose company I had enjoyed on our excursion around this impressive collection of caches. This was our last of the Christmas in the Ranges hides, and although we had been given a hint by another cacher earlier in the day, we found ourselves backed into a corner and the clue had me thinking of/searching for an object of a different size. After fearing I might have to give up I widened the search a bit, and then spotted another well-camouflaged hide, just as the owner arrived with micaparamedic in tow. (#506) Thanks for an inspiring collection of caches, Team Ladava; I'm not sure I have the time, skills and imagination to do as well, but it's certainly something to aspire to.

22-Nov-08
By the time we got to this cache we were all looking for the now usual cumming hide to be fooled again by a more traditional hiding method. Even then it took another cacher in the group to find it.

22-Nov-08
A nicely made container. Most GPS's had us in the corner, so there was only one way to go from there. It still took a while.
A great series.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found by caughtatwork.
So many good caches today in the rain and hail. We chose a good time to be escorted around the traps by Team Ladava today and I'm glad they were there as I'm not sure I would have found this one without a lot of other people looking at the same time.
It is a cunning hide and one that is worthy of bearing the Team Ladava stamp.
Thanks Team Ladava for these caches today. It brought another level of fun to the event.

22-Nov-08
Found by McAdies.
This along with all the other hides were fantastic. It was good to do them throughout the day with lots of different caching teams.

22-Nov-08
Found by Roma and Max in the company of Phetlern.
As a point of interest we were both using Garmin GPSMap60C & Cx receivers yet our machine, (60C), had us searching about 7m away from Peters, consequently he made another find for this search team.
This container is well worthy of its chance to remain and challenge future searchers.
Romax.

This was the first of the series that I found and I must not have prepared myself for these as I got a rude shock when I first couldn't find it. Widened my search area and then found the well hidden cache and I knew then I was up against a formidable foe in Team Ladava.

We headed out on the day prior to the event to case out the area and thought we would have a crack at a few of the specially created caches for the event. We managed to snare this one in between showers and glad we did, what a great clever hide. Well done again Team Ladava. Crafty buggers!

19-Nov-08
Found in company of Chelsea08 prior to the event on the weekend due to time constraints for me and Chelsea08's inability to attend. Another well postioned and well thought out cache hide in the series at this location, good to see this one will stay after the event. Many thanks Team Ladava, looking forward to the event on Saturday
