Description
Ankylosaurus Dinosaur Racer for the 2018 Spring Caching Carnival and Beyond
Ankylosaurus[nb 1] is a genus of armored dinosaur. Its fossils have been found in geological formations dating to the very end of the Cretaceous Period, about 68–66 million years ago, in western North America, making it among the last of the non-avian dinosaurs. It was named by Barnum Brown in 1908; the only species in the genus is A. magniventris. The genus name means "fused lizard", and the specific name means "great belly".

Logs
Sorry for the delay in moving this cache along. The cache has been hidden in bushland overlooking a SPOR.
Reading previous logs, this moveable may still be in location OR may have been found, removed and not relocated yet. We know moveables can sometimes be forgotten / missed / left in the bottom of a caching bag, so a check has been undertaken on this one.
An update will be posted within 28 days….

Joining three other moveable caches, Sarah Tops, Stef Stegosaurus, and a truck in a cosy little cubby hole.
Was just across the road to get the Parramatta Observatory trig cache, so thought I would pick this up, it being so close.
Will move to Merrylands to join three other moveable caches.

I was fortunate enough to get to have a visit from a new pile of movable caches on there way to the coast in the hands of Sol de Lune.
Thanks

Thanks

#GA3388 - 17:30; I was unable to head north with Sol de lune yesterday for the Meet the Moveables (NSW Edition), but had a very sneaking suspicion that he may return with some booty after a prisoner exchange. My suspicions were well founded and a plan was hatched for a couple of members of the Gungahlin Chapter of the Cerberus Mob have a meet and greet with the new arrivals. Nice to see a few newer and a couple of older moveables make it down to the National Capital. TFTC HansJJ

For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Found this one at the Meet the Moveables (NSW Edition) event held at Tizzana Winery in Ebenezer. A fantastic turnout at the event run for the current 2018/19 Journey or Destination game being run on Geocaching Australia which saw a total of 75 moveables come together. Thanks for sharing.

What a great way to start the new year with a meet the movables event that saw 75 moveable caches and 10 geocacher caches in attendance. All was laid out so one could walk around the tables to sign each and every log before a swap occured to send them away again in a new direction.

Spending the time with a group of friends rocking out & having a great time seemed like a bad idea to split them up so left in place
This was one of 7 moveables that decised they would stay out doors and got the best of both partys. One in the winery and one across the road. Left in place

Came to Rookwood after work armed with dinosaurs and others looking to take over the cemetary the second stop was to extract Ankylsaurus Dinosaur Racer for the 2018 Spring Caching Carnival and Beyond from his wet hidaway & to meet up with other like minded travellers. Lucky1955's Dinosaur 4 decided that he liked the spot so jumped before I got a chance to pull him back. Thanks for the moveable HansJJ
