Description
Sero Tardus: the late and tardy dinosaur
When a long lost geo friend announces that he's back in the game AND he has hidden a dinosaur close enough for you to find, you might like feel like you want to return the favour with a dinosaur for the local dinosaur for the friend to discover.
Sero Tardus: both Latin words meaning late or last minute. Which pretty much sums up this dinosaur and the race to get it into position for the Spring Caching Carnival.
If you are reading this, its likely you know what do to with it. If you need a revision of the rules its basically ...
- Find it and post a FOUND log. This will indicate its no longer hiding in this spot.
- Locate somewhere else to hide it. 50m away or 50,000m away, your choice, its better if its close enough for other GCA cachers to find easily.
- Record the new co-ordinates and note a decent clue on how to find it, this is no time to be cryptic - lets make finding easy and keep the dinos moving.
- Create a MOVED log, so potential finders will know its back in play and ready to be found.
There are some other rules about whether you can move one dinosaur two times in succession and other stuff. Go to the Spring Caching Carnival page for the full list of rules if you wish. You can also view the race ladder and some stats for each dinosaur. Being late, will Sero Tardus be first for anything?
I forgot to take a photo of Sero Tardus before I hid him but to modern day humans he appears as a 10cm long blue Stegosaurus.

This little dinosaur was going to come with me and a few dino friends to check out the view from the Lansdowne lookout and trigs, but the road was closed. The dinosaurs seemed to like the forest so they stayed behind in a burnt out stump by the side of the road near an intersection.
Happy travels little one.
in a small patch of rainforest laying on the ground
But today he was found and will hitch a ride
to another place where he can hide.
Sero Tardus said he was perfectly fine. He said that the recent heavy rains increased the size of the swamp temporarily but he is perfectly safe and is patiently waiting for a lift.
Sero is hiding about head height in a tree not far from my AR cache The Teddy and Friends Picnic.
Good luck Sero.
Even though you are 'home' I think you might still want to continue to travel so I will put you in Samboo Park. Ordinary, less enlightened people call it Schusters Park, but we both know its mine.
Hmnn should I thank myself for this cache since I share it with petan?

I was out caching and saw that some moveables that I hadn't seen and some that I had seen, had been left here so I have grabbed them to move interstate in the next week.
Thanks for putting out the movable for me to enjoy this find evening.
Thanks
Albida

Was stuck for a while due to the holder not doing too much travelling lately.
The tub at the drop off point was broken and damp inside so will need to be replaced (we left the TB's in a plastic bag).
