Where oh where is Rexi gone!!!
Dino vs elephant. It's been 65 million years between TRex and the elephant existence but the TRex is finally closing this gap.
If only he had longer arms he would be able to tickle under the elephants feet

I made a trip to Mt Tamborine to take my son out for lunch to celebrate his 19th birthday. I’ve hidden this dino at the bottom of the mountain, at the Canungra Showgrounds. If he’s still here in mid-August he’ll be able to attend the Canungra show! Hope someone picks him up again soon. He’s located at the base of a metal pole, near the fence.
It's always nice to see a new dinosaur passing through town. I ceased my opportunity and grabbed hold of this one today. It was larger than I was expecting (that's what she said) - so I'll find a nice secure spot to hide it (I'm not so sure she said that though). I'll be heading into QLD tomorrow, so I'll see if I can find a new home up in the sunshine state.

This Dino cache is finally on the move again. I was looking for stuff to put in a cache I wanted to hide and, upon finding the Dino among my geocaching stuff, decided he might like to join the cache in the little Lost World I discovered. I didn't place them together though, so if you are thinking of hunting down this Dino, maybe wait till the cache in the same area is published. GPS signal was atrocious as it I was surrounded by high walls of Basalt and tree cover so I have added a photo of the hiding place to help. There are a couple of ways down here. Whichever way you choose I suggest having plenty of light and watching your step. The Ambos like coming to the lookout here to sit and chat - they were there for a couple of hours today, so if you do take a wrong step maybe just give them a yell. Or maybe just drag your battered and bleeding body further down the hill to the hospital. haha. I approached through the gap in the fence at the Dodd Trig lookout but veered to the right at first, coming back to the pipe to follow it down. Maybe you could pretend it's a banister rail and slide right down it.
Holy Crap! I didn't look at the images for this before hunting it down today and it gave me a little fright when I stuck my hand in and moved a bunch of leaves to see those teeth at my fingertips. Haha. What was more frightening was the number of ants I made angry when disturbing it. I found a stick to drag it out if the tree them gave it a few rolls in the ground till all the ants were off. Sheesh! Haha. I love how big they are. If the rest of them was there it would be a big lizard indeed.
Today I decided to go visit a few village art galleries participating in the Plunge Festival looking for inspiration, or a new partner, or whatever it is I seem to need to get clarity in my life at the moment. Haha. In Ulmarra I happened upon an artist giving a talk and demonstration at one so I was later heading home than expected. I figured seeing as the ferries at Ulmarra and Lawrence were free, I'd take the western bank back to Maclean abs pick up this Dinosaur on my way through. Reaching the east bank at Lawrence the sun was setting, which set off the most amazing coralline sky colours I've seen in a while. Move over "golden hour"! Everything was coral! Me. My car. The ferry. The river. Every house facing west. Every tree. Every field. Every reflective surface shone brightly with it. Wow! After stopping for photos and driving into Maclean it was still going. After doing a little shopping for work food at the IGA it was still going. After ordering some TA food it was still going. I've attached one photo from near the start of the colour show and one from near the end. I have not altered the colour in the photos.
Now where on earth am I going to hide you? And I wonder if I can hide you in a way to scare the next finder? Hmmmm.

Dino is safe in its new hiding spot. just off the main road in Lawrence with a picnic table next to the river
Picked up on Woodford Island, not far from home. Will be hiding sometime this week.
We're on holidays in Yamba, and have been keeping an eye out for a good spot for this guy, whilst finding a cache in the Maclean/Ilarwill area we decided it would be a good area to drop - certainly safe from muggles up here, but not too far to discourage finders too much, its only 5 minutes from the main local roads, and the road passing it is sealed and in good condition.
We spotted a pair of plump young wallabies not far off, so he should be well fed! Good luck!!
We've enjoyed the process of finding and moving on this movable, and will definitely be keeping an eye out for more, and releasing our own....
Thanks for sending him out, sorry we had for longer than we were anticipating....

We were out this afternoon for the Coxs River Road and a handful of trigs, we noted this little guy on the map, and decided we'd check on him, having no luck on our preceding few movable cache hunts. We were driving the wrong direction, and spotted the hide, so turned around and backtracked, parking in an 'average' spot. Samuel barrelled out and checked it, coming out all grins with a very cool cache, albeit covered in cobwebs!.... We'll move him in the next week or two, back near home.... thanks for releasing it....

Found in place where TKJL had hidden it. It is now in my car for a trip to NSW before being released again.

Found on our second to last day visiting Stawell over Christmas. Heading back home to SA tomorrow and will move the cache along with us.
Finally getting around to the rehide, I've had this guy for way too long, my apologies. Hidden in a spot with a fantastic view for the next finder. Safe travels!
Found near the giant koala, dadswells bridge. Picked it up and we'll move it on soon.
