Description
TriZalforce Dino #1 - Styracosaurus
TriZalforce Dino #1
Styracosaurus
The Spring Racing season is here! No not the GCA Avondale Stakes, Dino-Racing! I adopted 3 mini-saurii from GCA to release into the wild for the fun and festivities.
Wiki: Styracosaurus (sti-RAK-ə-SOR-əs; meaning "spiked lizard" from the Ancient Greek styrax "spike at the butt-end of a spear-shaft" and sauros "lizard") was a genus of herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur from the Cretaceous Period (Campanian stage), about 75.5 to 75 million years ago. It had four to six long parietal spikes extending from its neck frill, a smaller jugal horn on each of its cheeks, and a single horn protruding from its nose, which may have been up to 60 centimetres long. The function or functions of the horns and frills have been debated for many years. Styracosaurus was a relatively large dinosaur, reaching lengths of 5.5 metres and weighing nearly 3 tonnes. It stood about 1.8 meters tall. Like other ceratopsians, this dinosaur may have been a herd animal, travelling in large groups, as suggested by bonebeds.
Score one from the herbivores and log a "FIND" on me! Re-Hide me somewhere Safe (NOT NEXT TO GC.com CACHES!) and Log a "MOVED" entry on this page. Please dont hold onto me for more then 48hours if possible... unless you are taking me interstate :D
Track My Progress on the Spring Carnival Ladder!
We ruled once, now our time has returned... if only for a month!

Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks Zalgariath for creating this cache for cachers to find.
Now in my safe hands; will be moved on soon.
What a pleasant surprise to have this little dinosaur amongst others delivered by friendly geocacher family from Blue Mountains NSW. Trust they will have quality time together whilst here on vacation.
The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.
Good to see this little one finally got to move.
Thanks for sharing Zal....
