Description
Part of the Spring Caching Carnival.
Rules of the game
- Your Dinosaur Racer must be a genuine, bone fide dinosaur. It may be store bought or hand crafted. We recomend you clearly mark your GAnnnnn code on your Dinosaur Racer to distinguish it from 100 other identical Dinosaur Racers.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 September 2018 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Geocaching Australia Time).
- Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your Dinosaur Racer on 1 September 2018. Check the wiki for how to achieve this.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You may find and move your own Dinosaur Racer during the game period.
- Dinosaur Racers must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the Dinosaur Racer to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the Dinosaur Racer provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 7 days and you were not the last geocacher to find or move it then the "rule of two other finds / moves" does not apply and you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 14 days, even if you were the last geocacher to find or move it then you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If a geocacher moves your Dinosaur Racer overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the Dinosaur Racer mover may move your Dinosaur Racer back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the Dinosaur Racer.

Logs
Reading previous logs, this moveable may still be in location OR may have been found, removed and not relocated yet. We know moveables can sometimes be forgotten / missed / left in the bottom of a caching bag, so a check has been undertaken on this one.

I had to drive the boss of the company i work for from Perth to Bussleton so he could pick up a new car and then i drove home again. Just a short round trip of 600km. After dropping the boss of i grabbed some lunch and went to the foreshore where the winds were blowing about 80 km ahead of a front and a massive tide with so much spray. Was very wild. After lunch i headed on my way back towards Perth but soon stopped after about 2 minutes to see if e were any moveables or new caches in the area. I noticed a moveable up the road so i headed off again. Once nearby i made a short detour into the gz area and spent about 5 mins searching here due to the endless hiding locations on multiple logs laying here. Soon found him and continued on our journey back to Perth and is now excited to be on another new adventure. Thanks for baby bronto Ross1957

Found in Perth, wonderful Western Australia.
Now in my safe hands; will be moved on soon.
What a pleasant surprise to have this little dinosaur amongst others delivered by friendly geocacher family from Blue Mountains NSW. Trust they will have quality time together whilst here on vacation.

Headed up to attend the Meet the Moveables (NSW) event and this was one of the many many moveables in attendance. Great time was had by all and it was good to put faces to the names of those cachers I'd only seen in logs before.
Thanks for sharing this one....(and apologies for the late log)

The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Now down at the Meet the Moveables event....NSW Edition
What a great way to start the new year with a meet the movables event that saw 75 moveable caches and 10 geocacher caches in attendance. All was laid out so one could walk around the tables to sign each and every log before a swap occured to send them away again in a new direction.

#GA3256 - 19:30; I saw that this little dino and a couple of mates had made the journey east and lobbed in the National Capital, but had already been collected before I could get out to make the pick up. When I saw they were back in play today, I headed out to make the find. A cosy little bunch too! TFTD ROSS1957

Headed out to grab this one today. Short walk up a familiar hill path before heading off to make the find. As I'm only the 3rd person to sign the log there was plenty of room to sign.
Thanks Ross1957....now with me and will be moved on sometime soon.

In Canberra visiting some friends and doing a nearby GC 5/5 puzzle cache before heading to the Mega in Victoria.
Didn't have a vehicle so was busing it around the place and picked a showery day to do it. Got a bit wet whilst walking to this area from the bus but they cleared away before I left the area so was able to dry off in the afternoon on the way back into the city.
After doing the previous GCA cache and a couple of GC caches I placed three moveable caches in the area that I had brought over from Western Australia.
This was one of them.
