Description
Part of the Spring Caching Carnival.
Rules of the game
- Your Dinosaur Racer must be a genuine, bone fide dinosaur. It may be store bought or hand crafted. We recomend you clearly mark your GAnnnnn code on your Dinosaur Racer to distinguish it from 100 other identical Dinosaur Racers.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 September 2018 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (Geocaching Australia Time).
- Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your Dinosaur Racer on 1 September 2018. Check the wiki for how to achieve this.
- The game administrators decision is final.
- You may find and move your own Dinosaur Racer during the game period.
- Dinosaur Racers must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the Dinosaur Racer to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the Dinosaur Racer provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 7 days and you were not the last geocacher to find or move it then the "rule of two other finds / moves" does not apply and you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 14 days, even if you were the last geocacher to find or move it then you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If a geocacher moves your Dinosaur Racer overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the Dinosaur Racer mover may move your Dinosaur Racer back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the Dinosaur Racer.

This didn't show on my map so it was quite a surprise to see it here with another moveable, picked up to move south.

This was one of the moveables we picked up and hoped to leave in Adelaide. However Covid-19 put an end to plans and we sadly left the state to head home before all borders were closed. Dropped off the moveables on the way.
Found at an event today but left with another cacher to go on an adventure with them TFTC
Dropped off to continue its journey, hiding with a friend under the middle rock
Found with geo grandaughter while out on an adventure together. She loved this one and wanted to keep it but I explained we could hide it and she seemed to think that was a great idea and we could find it again TFTC
The littlest geocacher found this one while out with her geo grandmother TFTC
Out and about on Australia Day to try and find some caches and then put out any moveables we've managed to collect. We managed to find this little guy and his mate and have moved them to the Trevallyn Reserve for a spell

Collected - nice to find a moveable we haven't meet before

Moved this cache while working in the Smithton area today. its now ready for its next adventure. TFTC
After being out and about for work today at Smithton way. I returned to the office to be greeted by a handful of movables. So what does one do when they see movables? Log and sign them and hand them back to be moved on. TFTC
today after finishing a job at Bakers Beach i stopped to grab this cache on my way back to the office. With accurate co-ordinace and a good hint the cache was quickly found.

We put this cache out on our way to the ferry. Unfortunately we lost the coordinates when we loaded the caches on our mainland route. This was the first chance we had to check on the cache and the coordinates. The cache is still hiding waiting to be moved on.
This delightful little Pterodactyl was found with a number of little moveables that had been travelling for some time. This little baby is now preparing to fly free in the Tassie skies.
This moveable cache has been travelling with us for long enough, time to see the sights in Tassie
A quick find on a beautiful day in this part of the world. We've been travelling around the area using caching as our guide. We picked up some moveable caches that have been hiding here for a while now. They're coming on a bit of a road trip with us. TFTC
I saw this trail of GCA caches appear about a month ago and have wanted to attempt it for quite a while. It ended up being a relaxing 3.5 hour drive around the country side. It’s nice to have a couple more GCA caches with a on them. I found a few different dinosaurs and other different types of hides. All caches found today were quick finds and were left at its current location for the next finder to move along. Today’s finds also included a few Trig-Points finds. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTC’s and TFTTP’s
P.S. The cache has been left at above coordinates for the next finder to move on.

I was happy to be able to sign the log for this cache when I ran into it amongst a pile of maoveables in the hands of Sol de Lune.

Discovered in the hands of another cacher who will move them on to greener pastures.

Saw that someone had left these poor little defenseless creatures out in the bush in the dark, so we dashed off on a rescue mission. We will give them some counselling, and what medical aid they require, before releasing them into a more salubrious district.
Out for a night drive with Just a cacher and collected this lot to take south to Canberra.
One of twelve at this location. Bring a bag or find the other bunch first.
Found in the company of many others of the wandering kind - thanks to rogerw3 for the exchange.

The latest Geocaching Australia game runs from 01-Dec-2018 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2019 23:59:59 AEST
For each qualifying geocache that you hide or find during the game period you will be offered the opportunity to click on a ground tile and reveal what lies beneath.
A moving cache, by nature, may have been moved since you last determined its location. It may have been picked up but not yet rehidden so it's considered 'in-transit'. There is no foolproof method of determining where a cache is simply by the log types that have been placed against the cache.

Headed up to Ebenezer with LuckyL10n to attend the Aussie Day event. 45 degree day made for a bit of a fun trip, however it was pleasant in the winery building. A good few hardy souls were in attendance as well as over 100 moveables. Some good conversation with cachers not met before and a good couple of hours was had by all. The trip home was a little different to what was expected but turned out ok....
Thanks to all the CO's for the caches...

Called into Tizzana Winery to buy some wine and saw the moveables and the list. The family wanted to continue on so said "Hi" to a few we'd previously met then headed on with some wine. Diolch for the moveable. I didn't pick up any.

Attended the 'Australia Day Moveable Event 2018' and came face to face with other like minded cachers, one being another lucky (luckyl10n) and 101 moveables in the area. Many thanks to the CO's who have published them over time and others who bought them together for the event.

Found this one at the Australia Day Moveable Event 2018 event held at Tizzana Winery in Ebenezer. Another fantastic turnout at the event run for the current 2018/19 Journey or Destination game being run on Geocaching Australia which saw a total of 101 moveables come together. Thanks for sharing.

#GA3258 - 19:30; I saw that this little dino and a couple of mates had made the journey east and lobbed in the National Capital, but had already been collected before I could get out to make the pick up. When I saw they were back in play today, I headed out to make the find. A cosy little bunch too! TFTD ROSS1957

A few new moveables in town, so with the day being good weather wise, it was time to head off for this one. Parked in the obvious spot then headed up and around the hill to find the cache sitting as per the hint. Made the grab and then retraced my steps to the car. Thought about one just a few k's away but decided it could wait for another day.
Thanks ROSS1957.....now with me and will be relocated shortly.

In Canberra visiting some friends and doing a nearby GC 5/5 puzzle cache before heading to the Mega in Victoria.
Didn't have a vehicle so was busing it around the place and picked a showery day to do it. Got a bit wet whilst walking to this area from the bus but they cleared away before I left the area so was able to dry off in the afternoon on the way back into the city.
After doing the previous GCA cache and a couple of GC caches I placed three moveable caches in the area that I had brought over from Western Australia.
This was one of them.
