Description
Small orange dinosaur with black markings
This is my third dinosaur in the Spring Caching Carnival of 2018. This fellow is keen to beat his brothers and be crowned King of the Spring Caching Carnival. The Spring Caching Carnival is a game where geocaching Dinosaur Racers will race around the country accumulating finds, moves and distance in order for their owner to be crowned King of the Spring Caching Carnival.
Racing commences 01-Sep-2018 00:00:00 to 30-Sep-2018 23:59:59 AEST
Rules of the game:
- You may find and move your own Dinosaur Racer during the game period.
- Dinosaur Racers must be found and hidden by the same geocacher (i.e. no mailing the Dinosaur Racer to another geocacher to hide).
- There is no limit to the number of times a geocacher can find / move the Dinosaur Racer provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 7 days and you were not the last geocacher to find or move it then the "rule of two other finds / moves" does not apply and you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If the Dinosaur Racer has not moved within 14 days, even if you were the last geocacher to find or move it then you are free to move the Dinosaur Racer again.
- If a geocacher moves your Dinosaur Racer overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the Dinosaur Racer mover may move your Dinosaur Racer back to the country of origin without breaking the "2 moves" rule.
- There is no limit to the distance other geocachers can move the Dinosaur Racer.
Etiquette:
- Avoid rehiding a Dinosaur Racer far from active geocachers territory as it basically exits the dinosaur from the race
- When rehiding a Dinosaur Racer get good co-ordinates. Seriously. Don't dump and run. Get co-ords as you would a permanent geocache
- When making your log against a Dinosaur Racer include a GOOD HINT so the finder can identify whether it's been moved, muggled or just a bad GPS day
- This is a challenge of moving Dinosaur Racer along, not trying to make them impossible to find, so help you fellow players out by making the game enjoyable
- Please avoid hiding movable caches near existing Groundspeak or Geocaching Australia geocaches. At Groundspeak geocaches they go missing as rubbish or taken as trades. At Geocaching Australia geocaches the other geocache ends up travelling as well which it's not supposed to. So please find a location away from any existing geocaches (except of course other movable geocaches) to keep the Dinosaur Racer in play for as long as possible.
- Please move me quickly around as I am very competitive and want to beat my brothers! Thanks.
Logs
Almost 12 months since this moveable was last found or sighted. With no word on any further movement, or even knowledge of it's current location, we'll archive it for now. If it does reappear, the listing can be re-instated...
Found this one is the safe hands of a fellow catcher. Love tracking these little guys down! TFTC
Cache moved on and already collected TFTC
Another cool little orange dinosaur. Thanks for the cache - I will move it on soon
I saw a haul of caches arrive in town while I was with KittyKatch designing our new GeoArt. I packed up as quickly as I could to head out and collect them but as I neared GZ Sol de Lune informed me that he had beaten me to them. So here I am holding and logging them before moving them on. This was one of the moveables we picked up and hoped to leave in Adelaide. However Covid-19 put an end to plans and we sadly left the state to head home before all borders were closed. Dropped off the moveables on the way.
Dropped off at an event for another cacher to take to the mainland
Tonight after work I went in search of some moveables in an area I have been in recently searching for some other moveables. This time I was successful in getting a few moveables even thought it was getting dark there was certainly enough light left in the day to see well even for an old codger like me, however it wasnt without drama. I got back to the gate which I assumed that they did not actually lock to find it was locked!! Luckily the security guard saw me and came back and unlocked the gate - it was after "sunset time" but it was not dark. I will certainly take more care next time as i was not looking forward to spending the night there or getting my husband to come and get me. TFTC
Back home again !!!

Oops I did drop this one off with some friends.
I saw that a group of moveables had been dropped in the Trevallyn reserve and so off I went in search of the collection of moveables. Quick find in a place I had searched before. I dropped off 2 moveables in the same place.
Moved this group of 9 moveables to the trevallyn dam area today while here searching for caches. all 9 have been placed together as i had forgot about them in the car untill we were about to leave. TFTC
Found this one tonight on the way home from work. Good co-ordinance and hint lead to a quick find, will move on soon. TFTC
Out and about getting a group of moveables back out in the wild, happy travels little guy
A quick find in a familiar location. Picked him up as we went past and will move him out again as soon as possible. TFTC
Time for Willifindyou to move on. It has been hanging around for far too long.
On our way back to Hobart after several days on the East coast we noticed some moveables loitering in the ends of a guard rail we would soon pass by. Of course we stopped to collect them. This was one that found its way into our caching bag.
We will move it on soon after taking it for a short ride.

"Hello ChrisWhite62 thank you for the cache.
This was one of many caches sitting on the table as the event finished so I took them.

back out again in a cooler climate (and home state)
Grabbed from whitewebbs up on the sunshine coast. Will take south to Tasmania this week where most of the locals were not able to find this before it was whisked away interstate. Thanks for the movable.
Handed to Tassie cachers at Cotton Tree
You and Sero Tardus have been having So much fun on the back of the bike, but now its time to roam free again. I hope you enjoy your new resting spot. This area has a lot of people around but you will be safe until the right one comes along. (spoiler photo attached) GREAT cafe across the street if you need to refuel/recharge
Well! An unexpected find today! I guess Sero Tardus wanted to see his old friend again. re-united today and set to travel soon. Actually I know as soon as I rode in where I'd look, didn't even need the co-ordinates. Can't wait to set these dinosaurs roaming again! Thanks for the fun of this adventure

Was hanging on to Willifindyousaurus thinking we would be meeting up with another GCA cacher. As that's now not happening we've dropped him off in time for any returning holidayers to pick up.. or anyone else coming this way. Good off road parking for big vehicles and a great spot to take a break.
Stroke of luck!!! Busted Geono in my street come to look for my cache. They had a few moveables with them and I had some as well so we did a few photos and had a chat, then went to find my cache. Geono on a mission had to dash. Tftc chriswhite62 cute little dinosaur very much like the one i have here of youngoldfellas. Cache is still in the possession of Geono.

Didn't notice this little dinosaur immediately as he looked to be part of Eromsil Gnome's attire. Well hello again Willifindousaurus... It appears these two moveables have spent some merry time together. We've picked them both up to move along.. as to where we don't know yet. TFTM ChrisWhite62.

Willi is safely nestled with Eromsil Gnome behind the State Emergency Service at Logan Village Queensland. He is attached to Eromsil for safe keeping and they can travel together.

We picked up Will whilst doing an FTF. He will spend Christmas with us and we will drop him off at a location nearer to Brisbane. Merry Christmas.
Will and I have been busy building a geocache. And not just any geocache - Will was insistent that we build a gadget cache, and there had to be enough room inside for him to fit to catch a new ride. We've had storm after storm lately, and he's not at all interested in getting his feet wet. So we ventured out to put the cache out and once it was in place, he climbed on in. Great hanging with you Will! I hope we meet again!
Will wasn't in Rainbow Bay long. But he did have an awesome day. He met up with Sero Tardus, a local dinosaur who has spent most of his life on the Gold Coast. After a quick dip in the beach, Will climbed in for a ride down a bit further south. He misses the sights, smells and sounds of the Gold Coast - but he loves the peace and serenity of where he is journeying to next! It's a pleasure to have you along for the ride, Will!

Took the little dino for a trip to the beach. Seems Willifindyousauras liked what it saw and has taken up residence at Rainbow Bay.
Actually Didn'tfindyousauras in the first spot we looked. MrsG must learn to take the GPS instead of relying on hints, but a quick find at the other alternative. Woohoo, another dino! TFTM ChrisWhite62.

Quick trip for this Sauras. Left a Tassie spring for a 38 degree NSW day.
Have had this little dino for a while now and it's about time he moved on.. thanks..!!
Wellyesididfindyousaurus, took a while to locate this one as he looks to have been inadvertently dino-napped by another. As I missed him during the race, I was pretty keen to track him down when appeared in Newnham. A very quick drive by. I will endeavour to get this little bloke back out soon.. thanks..!!

Apologies to CO, we placed this when we found it, but only realised till know that we had only logged the find and not the move.
All good to go.

Willthenextsearcher be able to find you Willifindyousaurus? This little creature is hiding under a stick while it waits on the side of the highway.

Brought some dinosaurs back from Launceston yesterday to continue their race along the north west coast, happy travels
Found on a dinosaur raid in the Launceston area, we brought more than we took so that should please the locals. Taking this one to the north west with us. TFTC
