Description
While driving home from an event at St Arnaud, we drove past this solar farm and thought it was worth a stop to check it out. There's not much else out this way, but if you are driving close by, why not stop and have a look. The cache location is at a slighty higher point so you can see the farm and how far it stretches. If you're interested, this link has neat aerial shot of the solar farm: http://edifyenergy.com/
A little info from Mr Google....
Gannawarra Solar Farm is a photovoltaic solar power station in the Gannawarra Shire, 13 kilometres west of Kerang in the Australian state of Victoria. It generates up to 60 MWdc electricity and exports up to 50.61 MWAC to the National Electricity Market at 66 kV.
As for the cache, it is a green preform tube hanging in the tree....so shouldn't be that hard to find. Hope you enjoy having at looking at farm.....
