Description
Babinda Boulders is a popular, lovely and relaxing place to bushwalk, swim and play. If your lucky, you might even see a Cassowary! (Do not approach or feed them, they can be very aggressive when they have young chicks and have been known to slice up car doors). The surrounding rainforest and foliage is stunning, with colourful butterflies fluttering about throughout. But becareful! The area is known for being a dangerous swimming hole during the monsoon season, and also, some places are out-of-bounds. Aboriginal legend tells of a young couple inlove, but they were not allowed to be together. So they decided to kill themselves in the Babinda Boulder waters. The young woman went first, but the young man chickened out and ran away. Her spirit still remains in the waters and calls young men to their death, looking for her lover. Interestingly, those who have died or been injured in this area, have all been men! The area is child friendly, with toilets, changerooms, a playground, tables etc. The trail walks are short (but may be big for little ones). Could not get exact co ordinates on cache location, as my phone gps did not work in that area (no network coverage). So So I have written some clues :) "There is a DEVIL'S POOL, where the LEGEND OF THE BOULDER'S is told. If you escape, there will be some steps to up and go" Cache is in a yellow play-doe container. There is a log book, pencil, some kid trinklets for small swaps. There is no need to go off the path at all, or do anything risky.

Logs
Unfortunately I had left this one for after my walk, so whilst trying to find this in the playground, I realised i was in the wrong spot. Maybe I will get back here one day.
Thanks
