Description

The cache is an old detergent container, well washed out - no white powder here - and painted brown to hopefully make it a little less obvious to passersby. It contains only a log and a pen, but feel free to add trinkets.

It's hidden by a post in the fence between the cyclepath, the traintracks and the road. Please leave the velcro strip in the container - I need it to reattach to the tree  next timeI visit  - with the right tools this time!

While you're here, cross the bridge  and find the plaque telling who built and paid for the bridge. Such snippets of infomation I find interesting in a delightful, unimportant sort of way.

Hidden to get another Griffin cache in this DragonZone, and to give me another square to reveal in the game Journey or Destination, December2018 - Jan 2019.

Adelaide Trip. May 2021. Day 6. I spent the afternoon between Marion and Brighton today. Plenty of new caches since I was around here last, and 10 Labs to get as well. The nice weather after a few days of rain had the fore shore quite busy, but they did not stop my activities.

I almost gave up on this one, but in the end I was happy to make the find.

Thanks
Albida

Our first geocache find for 2020!

We parked within metres of the cache, and made a quick find on the good sized container. No bikes seen during the caching of this cache.

Thanks Whheels.

Found It!
A quick-ish find after a bit of looking around. No bikes were seen. No trains were seen either. A very quiet day here today...

We had noticed that Whheels had placed several caches during his recent visit so we had added them to our to be found list. This was the second Whheels cache we looked for. IT took a little time to locate as we were looking at the wrong level for some time. A change of angle and the cleverly hidden container was spotted. Container and contents were in very good condition.

Thanks for another cache in South Australia Whheels. We enjoyed our hunt for this one. No cyclists were encountered today.

Flew in from Perth yesterday to visit family here; but today was perfect weather for caching.
Well hidden, thank you Whheels

During my trip here achieved 4x FTF's (GA), picked up a dozen moveables; plus the highlight being my D/T grid (GC) now filled after finding one up a tree.
Huge THANK YOU to local cachers: J&J, Laighside Legends, andrewbt, Atreyu1982, Blackadders, OzGrumpy, weredunn4 & Jacknor whom all contributed towards my success.
What an adventure, visiting: Adelaide CBD, Showground, Glenelg & Seacliff Holdfast Bay, McLaren Vale, Onkaparinga, Hawthorndene, Carrick Hill, Kensington Park, Teringie, Prospect, Elizabeth, Port Adelaide, Garden Island, Gawler, Nuriootpa Barrossa; and an impressive collection of planes at Greenock Aviation Museum!
