on my way to the Mega event in wangaratta and stopped by for this cache Tanks for highlighting this place
Staying in Creswick for a few days
Today I was heading to Corowa (NSW) to catch up with family and friends and to attend the Beechworth Event.
Had a couple of Adventure Labs on my radar today but then detoured via some back roads letting my GPS be my guide.
Thanks for the cache 1stseymourventurers and for bringing me here. This one took a while but I had the place to myself today. I have seen many wonderful sights and taken many photos around this fantastic area

On our way to Melbourne to catch a plane to Brisbane, for our granddaughter’s wedding, we stopped to stretch our legs.
Muggle Hubby took a little while to locate this, considering that it is a good sized cache, much bigger than the one that was previously on this tank.
Thanks Seymour Venturers for placing it here for our enjoyment.
I wish geocaching was around when Muggle Hubby and I were Venturer and Scout leaders.

#GA3848 - 13:05; Headed home solo after dropping the geoson in Melbourne to collect a car. Decided a bit of caching as I head north is in order, first stop Seymour. Collected the nearby ICEM cache and stopped for this one as I wandered back to the geomobile. Looked in a few spots before I found it. Retrieved and happily signed the log. TFTC 1stseymourventurers

Wow!!! This one was certainly easier than the last cache we found on this tank.
And we had the park all to ourselves today with very little passing traffic.
Well done Seymour venturers, a great little cache in a great spot and a very helpful clue too.

Ah yes W@W, but I was lucky and had the opportunity to try again on the way home....and had success. Although I can certainly see how you'd have problems at the Choo Choo.
As you say, it's all about the game we play and sometimes we can be lucky, and sometimes not. Once back at GZ today, I followed the hint and after a few minutes had the cache in hand. Saw W@W's log and remembered he had mentioned he was coming through today..so good to see your name in the log book.
Thanks again to the 1st Seymour Venturers...a good hide that I hope a lot of others will try.

An early bus trip to Seymour today with a few minutes spare before departure gave me a quick find at this cache, one I've visited for a GC cache many years ago.
Interestingly, I had success here and was muggled out at Choo Choo. SdL had success there but was muggled out here Oh well, that's the game we play
My thanks to 1stSeymourVenturers for placing a few caches around Seymour to keep me busy when I'm working.

Wowser....3.00pm Friday afternoon and there were a few people around. Had a cursory look, but didn't try that hard as I'll be heading back through here on the way home tomorrow afternoon, so will try then.
Fingers crossed...

On our way to Melbourne but some new caches and the need for groceries lured us in to Seymour. This was the second cache we missed out on the FTF by the skin of our teeth. The biggest cache we've found on machinery.... way to go 1stseymourventurers! TFTC

Thankfully it was getting late when we went to look for this cache and there was noone closeby. Any passerbys would wonder what these to older people where doing examining the tank. We searched for a while without any luck. As the light was starting to fade we go out our torch and soon had located the container. Now the question was how to extract it.
There were some natural tools close by and we managed to manoevre the container into a position where we could lift it out of its position. Again we found that the log sheet was blank giving us another {FTF} at 20:30. The coordinates were spot on when our GPS units settled.
Thanks for this challenging cache Jay and the 1st Seymour Venturers. It is always nice to find good sized cache containers with a nice collection of swaps.
